"Mishtiiii....Tia betaaaa..."
They turned towards the familiar voice...
He stood there dumbfounded and completely terror stricken!!!
"Daddyyyy......",Tia squealed in delight seeing her father!!!
Geet sat quietly.... looking into his beautiful chocolate eyes.....and
as she looked,all her fears vanished!!!!
A rush of warmth filled her.....
Somewhere in her heart,she knew that everything was going to be
alright.......It has to.... ...after all... he was there!!!!

His handsome face distorted with a spasm of despair.
His hands tore at his hair.
He was living his worst nightmare....
He saw his child and his love looking at him with hope and
trust.......
His painful past flashed before his eyes......
He saw Sameera and Aryan screaming for help.....
"Noooooooooo....Oh please God!!!! not again!!!! Don't take them
away from me......Don't punish me like this........", his mind
screamed silently!!!
"No Maan,No !!! This is not the time for weakness!!! You can't let
anything happen to Mishti and Tia....This time you have to fight
against your fate!!!"

Tia was getting impatient...Why was Daddy not coming to her???
Maybe,he was afraid of Mamma....
"Daddy..daddy...",she called out..."Mamma, Tia go to
Daddy..pleeaashe..."
She held out her tiny arms thinking that her daddy would come
and scoop her up as he usually did...
Seeing those tiny arms extended towards him,his heart bled....
Geet looked at Tia and her daddy..
She now realized how close they had become!!!
She couldn't fathom the unexpected emotions welling up inside
her...
"Tia has already accepted Maan.....and is crazy about him...So is
Maan about Tia.....What about me???....I thought I didn't want him
anywhere near her,if that is so,, then why am I feeling so good
seeing their bonding??..
why am I so happy and relieved to see him..???
Why do I have so much of trust in him??.....
......Trust in the man who broke it very badly???
But Is he the only one who has made mistakes in life??
What about Dev??
When I told Dev about the incident, what did I expect??
I expected him to take me in his arms,tell me that nothing was
wrong and comfort me with his love.....instead.. he walked away....
and my family...... they treated me as though I was the culprit..
Who was worse????.....Maan,Dev or my so called family???"
A train of thoughts passed through her confused mind.....
Pinky's words kept coming back to her....
Maan loves her like crazy!!!
He was pining for her......He had spent all these years repenting,
suffering.....
Can somebody really love another person like this?????.....to the
extent of madness?????
She felt a strange emotion awaken inside her.......some
unknown feeling for the father of her child.. ...but is now the time
for this??
Will she survive to explore more about this 'anjaana ehsaas'????

Maan blinked back the tears blocking his view.
His daughter and his Mishti.....they needed him....but... How was
he going to save them???
One wrong move from him may upset the balance of the car.....but
he was sure of one thing........if the car loses it's balance and falls
into the river,, he will definitely follow them....this time he won't let
death cheat him!!!!

The car was balancing on a block of cement.... moving up and
down like a see-saw....
Maan was scared witless seeing that but decided to take the
risk.....He called out to Geet...
"Mishti... slowly..very slowly give Tia to me...."
She nodded....but as she turned to put Tia out through the broken
rear window........the car swayed dangerously!!!!
Maan's heart skipped a beat!!!
"Noooooo Mishti......easy ...easy..... ..".
Geet sat tight holding her breath.....
The car slowly stopped shaking.....
Maan let out a sigh of relief.....and extended his arms again...
This time Geet was more careful......but as he scooped Tia up in
his arms........the car lost it's balance.... it pitched forward.....
A scream died in his throat!!!!!!!!!
