What have you been reduced to??!!!

Am deeply saddened as I type this post......

Yesterday's (15th April 2011) episode was just the proverbial last straw!!!

CVs, what exactly were you thinking???

First CV_1 comes up with a completely uncalled for, distasteful poll, insulting our loyalties......knowing very well that it has and always will be ShaNak for us......

And then, the 'cherry' is the near-negligible footage of Shaan in the episode last night!!😡

It's one thing to think of comic relief via the Sasha track, and another to side-line one of the leads in the process!!

Is Shaan's role now only going to be relegated to be his wife's sounding board??

Is he only gonna cheer from the sidelines as his wife champions her "Bharatiya Sanskriti" cause??

Is it not necessary for him to ever earn a living???

How can Shantanu Khandelwal be shortchanged so badly?? Beats me completely!!!

Where is the Shaan who only had to say "Tum kitni achhi ho Khanak!" to bring forth his earnestness.....

Where is the Shaan who just had to utter "Khanak! Woh mujhe chodke kaise jaa sakti hai??" to express the depth of his love....

Where is the Shaan who simply had to shut his eyes to regain his sense of self-worth.....

Where is the Shaan who could carry off the textile presentation with as much panache as he could his mindless banter.....

Just where is that Shaan??

We were given some hope during SR2 on seeing the 'rediscovered' Shaan......

CV_1, you owe us an answer!!!

Now, moving on to the actor who 'lives' Shantanu Khandelwal......Karan Tacker!!

The greatest tribute that I can pay this young actor is that when Shaan let KT down, KT resurrected Shaan!!!!

If we still love Shaan even after Shaan's character was royally butchered thanks to the MMS crap and all, its largely because KT did not ever let him slip.....KT's conviction.....KT's portrayal of Shaan could never be questioned!!!

KTs calibre is indisputable!!

Being from the 'facts n figures' background, would cite a 'fresh from the oven' example.....yesterday's episode.....a non-descript one, really.....but even there KT stood out!!

The manner in which he says "Kyon?? Saara information kyon repeat kar rahi ho, Khanak?? Why?".......the ease, so effortless!! Just like the woes of a real-life husband!! 😆👏

A simple moment on the face of it, but substance required to portray it!!! ⭐️

The bottom line.....

Here is an actor who time and again along with his equally talented co-star Yashashri Masurkar has prevented the RBO ship from tanking!!

Had it not been for them, RBO would have gone the "Titanic" way long back........

The least you can do CVs, is to justify the powerhouse of talent that you have at your disposal.....give them their due.....screen space and screen time included, not to mention a definite storyline!!!

Would be a huge vindication even for us viewers who despite our busy lives.....our hectic schedules.....our individual commitments, dont just tune in every night at 10 PM IST.....but feel for ShaNak and KT-Yashu as if they were one of our own!!!

this is all due to one person taking d entire showin control wich is totally doing no gd fr rbo n shanak

i want tht shaan back tht khanak back n tht shanak back who just not for d sake of romance or scenes loiter around in an epi

cvs u can bring in d pathshala n office into use for both shaan n khanak u can have sooooooooo many ideas n storylines then y not use them on shanak

wen u can have innovative comedy tracks im sure u can have sensible serious cum romantic cum fun track fr shanak too

if u wanna know wat rbo is watch from june25th to november 9th u shall get to know it

Dont know what to say, except to agree to all that you have said so beautifully.

Really hope the CVs take note and salvage it gets too late... because it does get too late sometimes in life to salvage things, be it relationships or a TV show!

I sincerely request someone from the channel or production house to please allay fans' worries and fears. Please assure them that Shaan's character will not be affected. Rumors and panic could affect the show.

agreed to ur post dr dsr.. even i felt the same thing.. yest giving the leads only 3 to 4mints and rajen getting the screen so much.. and yes they shld show some good storyline for shanak also.. why not show pathshala,, office ,,

Dyo completely agree with you 100%..have nothing more ot say other then...Please CV's ....do the needful and hear us out...before its tooooo late and we all who have kept this show afloat as loyal viewers abandone the ship as ypu seem to have done...

agreed👍🏼 Somewhere down the down the line they have butchered Shaan's character....maybe the cv's themselves are unsure how to portray him...thus the confusion.....

Regarding the current track... I feel it's too early to comment....it's just been an episode...

don't know what the cv's have planned....will like to wait and watch...😊

Anyways I am enjoying the Khanak-Sasha banter...and will hope Shaan has equal weightage in it as well...

Doc,what a heartfelt post!!!!

Yesterday as I was watching their earlier scenes I felt so saddedned to watch ShaNak and what happened to them now.Khanak's role no Q,she gets meatier lines and all,but what abt Shantanu?Is he going to be joru ka ghulam as he himself once agreed.What happened to his volatile nature?They ruined him so badly with him just thinking abt s.. all the time in the SUnny track,which when introduced had the potential to suit ShaNak,what with look-alike,memories,guilt,jealousy and coming out of it together.Alas,nothing as such happned!Now there is not even a track where SHANTANU could do something!!Sad indeed!!

To the creatives,Shaan and Khanak are the pillars of this show.As much as we gush over the romance and all,romance without a proper story line is just distasteful esp when it constitutes ShaNak!Simply cos they deserve better after the beautiful story they had.

KT and YM.are the sole reason we watch the show.Sole reason where fans promoted the show so vigourously everywhere to make it known,that there is a show called ODHANI and people do recognise it now.And now that you have got the recognition,you feel that there is no need for a track on ShaNak any more?If people after all these efforts come and want to give the show a chance,they def would be put off by the amount of time the leads are getting and also by the fact that there is no story for them except romacing all the time.

I was actually horrified by the fact that the Creative_1 came and said that there would be some more'intense romance' coming soon!!Really!!Is this whta ShaNAk were supposed to do all the time.

I really wonder if the actors,who worked hard for the past one year,are really happy with the happenings in the show.Would it be any surprise if they want to look for greener pastures?Can we really blame them?But they won't cos they are LOYAL and at least for that LOYALTY consider having some mercy on the talented,young actors you have here!!!
