The Party
--------------

Maan led her through the crowd to meet the clients...

While introducing her to them,he casually put his arm around her waist...

She jolted when she felt his warm hand against her bare waist!

She wanted to slap it away,but controlled herself as she didn't

want to create a scene there!!!

Gritting her teeth ,she waited for them to be left alone...that's when

she was going to kill him!!!!

Maan didn't hear a word, the clients were saying!!!

The only thing that his brain registered at the moment was the feel

of her soft skin beneath his fingers!!!

He felt the steel of his resolve melting away....

He turned to look at her.......

His loving gaze was met by her angry glare!!!

He almost jumped out of his skin seeing the menacing look on her face!!!!

Excusing himself,he walked away before the deadly looks she

was giving him, burn him down to ashes....

"Mr.Khurana,we would like Ms.Geet and you to grace the dance floor..."

"Ummm,yeah sure!!!!"

He nervously approached Geet...

"Geet,will you please dance with me..."

"No,I......."

Before she could refuse,he grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him.

"What the hell???What do you think you are doing???"

"Sorry Geet,I don't have a choice here...The clients want us to do

this...and we are going to dance,no matter what!

Don't create a scene please........

Geeeeet,for God's sake don't pull such a long face.....

People are watching us...why you want to embarrass both of

us???

Show some professionalism if you can!!!"

He muttered under his breath,just loud enough for her to hear....

Plastering a fake smile on his face,he led her to the dance floor....

"Professionalism,my foot!!! I know what is in that sick mind of

yours....you'll pay for this Mr.Khurana and that's a promise!!!"

Seething with anger and cursing him in her mind,she reluctantly

followed him...

To add to her misery, the DJ chose to play a slow romantic number....

He took her soft hand in his left palm,while his right arm went

around her tiny waist....

She grudgingly put her hand on his shoulder but tried to put as

much distance as possible between their bodies..

Maan noticed her antics and rolled his eyes.....to his glee, the

dance floor was slowly getting crowded...pushing her more

towards him!

She gasped when she felt his arms go around her pressing her

further into him..

His breath on her neck was evoking feelings in her which she

didn't want to submit to!!!!

She felt repulsed at herself for entertaining such feelings in her

mind......that too for him!!!

He closed his eyes surrendering himself to the ethereal feeling of

having her so close to him.....

Her petite form fit perfectly in his arms....

Her fragrance drove him crazy and longing for more....

He felt her stir...sensing her discomfort,,he reluctantly released her....

He suddenly felt lost and lonely as she walked away from him in a

tearing hurry!

She hated herself for letting him come so close to her.....

Hated herself for not being able to hate him the way she used to....

She walked out of the hall into the deserted corridor...

She was trying to rewire her short circuited brain,when she felt his presence behind her....

"Geet...I..."

"Wait a second, What were you trying to do back there???"

He looked at her puzzled ,at the sudden outburst!

"What did I do??"

"Oh please! No need to act this innocent.......you know exactly

what you were doing........Didn't you feel any shame groping me

like that???"

"Groping???? Mishti don't insult me like this!!", he raised his voice

clearly annoyed now.

"I've done a grave mistake,I know that...I've been repenting ever since....

How long will you hold a grudge against me????

How long will you torture me like this????

Falling on my knees,how many times have I begged and pleaded for forgiveness???

There is a limit to what I can also endure....I'm tired...

What more do you want me to do now,to get your forgiveness, Mishti???

His voice,which has reached fever pitch,, cracked....

He felt choked up with emotions.....

She turned to walk away from him.....knowing well that if she

stayed little more,it'll weaken her resolve to hate him....

"Where do you think ,you are going???? I'm not done yet!!!"

He grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him!

Irritated by his behavior she lashed out at him...

" How dare you touch me again???

How many times I have to tell you that your touch repulses me???"

He left her hand flinching at her spiteful words...

"Next time, if you try something like this,Mr.Khurana.....I'll give

myself away to the first person who would like to sleep with

me!!!"

"Mishtiiiiiii...."

Flying into an uncontrollable rage,he slapped her!!!
