At the Party
----------------

She dropped on the floor,hid her face in her hands and wept bitterly....

He stood motionless looking down at her sobbing figure...

Part of him wanted to walk away from her.....her spiteful words had broken his heart and wounded his soul,but...

she was his Mishti!!....his life!!! and he could never leave her.....

His undying love will never let him walk away!!!

Unable to bear her heart wrenching sobs anymore,he picked her

up in his arms and walked out into the night!

For once she didn't resist,but kept crying burying her face on his shoulder....

They sat in silence throughout the car ride...lost in their own thoughts....

She started out of her reverie,when the car came to a halt!

She got out silently...unable to meet his gaze,she started to walk away.....

He gently pulled her back and turned her around to face him.

She stood there quietly looking down.

He cupped her face,forcing her to look at him!

Her left cheek was slightly swollen and red.....

She flinched when he caressed her cheek softly....

Soon his fingers were replaced by his lips.......

The tenderness of his kiss softened her aching heart...

A fresh tear broke free and started down her cheek!

He pulled back to look at her as he tasted her salty tear...

He wanted to punish himself for what he had done.....

With a sharp intake of air,he punched the boundary wall hard!!

She winced seeing blood flow freely from the wound!!

They stood there staring intently at each other .....in silence....

and let their eyes do all the talking....

After that night,both realized that something had changed between them.....

Maan was very happy to notice the change in Geet.....she seemed

to warm up to him...

Although he noticed a hesitancy still towards him,he was content

with her small smiles and hooded gazes.....

He wanted to talk to her about Tia...Keeping her in the dark was

killing him, but Daadi asked him to wait.

She thought she would be able to explain the situation better!!

"Mishti...",she hugged the young girl fondly..."How have you been beta???"

"Good Daadi.... and you???"

"Do you think my life is worth living without you all???",her voice cracked...

Geet looked down unable to see her tears.....she loved her Daadi

too much....

"Daadi...please..."

"Beta,how long will you go on like this??

Two of my favorite people spoiling their life,that too in front of my

eyes, is too much for this old Daadi to endure.

Spare me from the agony dear....

Give me some peace and happiness in these twilight days of my

life..........I'm begging you..."

Seeing Daadi standing with folded palms,Geet broke into sobs

and threw her arms around the older woman's neck!

"Beta,Please....please marry him!!!

Geet jumped as though electrocuted!!!

"Marry Maan???? How can Daadi even suggest it??? Noooooo...."

She screamed silently in her mind!!!

It was true that she didn't hate him any more,but that doesn't mean

that she has forgiven him !!!

Marrying him was unimaginable!!!

"Mishtiiii...,beta.."

"Daadi,please....forgive me...I can't...I just can't.."

She ran away sobbing unable to control the pain any longer....

"I'm sorry Maan..I couldn't convince her!!"

"Daadi, How could you do that??? How could you even ask her to marry me????

Oh God!! What will I do now??? Things were getting little better

between us.......I thought,with patience...slowly, I'll win her trust....

....her love........but now???..."

"Don't worry beta...I'm sure everything will become alright...Mishti

will agree sooner or later........as a woman,she may be not be able

to forgive you...but with Tia in the picture...sooner or later,she will

realize your importance in their life!"

"No Daadi,That's not what I want...I want my Mishti to forgive me

and love me....and come back to me only because of that

love...not because she needs a father's name for our child!!

I'm sure Daadi,one day my love will win her over!!!"

"Daddy..."

"Yes,sweetheart?"

"Tia wants big Teddy...thiiiish big!!"

"Ok,whatever you wish princess!!"

"Maan sir,ab bas bhi kijiye na....What will we tell Geet??"

"Oh please Adi,stop worrying....tell her,these are from you

guys...bas...kuch nahin hoga...relax!!"

"Ab ghar chale Tia baby???"

"No,Tia go with Daddy!!"

"Haan baby, I'll definitely take you home,but not today......aapki

Mamma dar jayegi!! What if she cries??"

"No,mamma...no cry!!"

"Right! so Tia'll go home with Maasa and Maasi,ok??"

He kissed her again and again before reluctantly handing her over

to Adi....

When they reached home,Geet was preparing dinner.

She came out when she heard Tia's excited squeals!!!

"Mammmaa looooook".

She was taken aback by the amount of gifts and toys they brought in.

"Pinky,Adi, what's with you guys?So many gifts...but..."..

"It's okay, Geet.... your Kanjoos Jeeja was on a spending spree today .....

So Tia and I decided to make most of it.

It doesn't happen often,na?",Pinky looked at Adi with a knowing smile.

"Look Geet,we've bought something for you also..."

Pinky took out a royal blue salwar suit with pearls at the hem.

It looked stunning.The embedded crystals in the suit shined like stars in the night sky.

"Oh Pinky, this is breathtaking!!!!!..but it looks damn expensive as well !!! What was the need for all this??? guys......I don't understand.....what's the occasion???".

"Mamma look", Tia pulled at her hand to get attention..

"Sheee what daddy gave Tia!!!!..."

She held a huge teddy bear almost double her size.......

Geet stood flabbergasted!!!!!

" Daddy???????"

awww that was awesome part....
arghhhhh cliffhanger ending.....
so Geet has still not forgiven Maan....n doesn't want to get married to him.......bas I think my munda has suffered a lot now...Geet should forgive him now.can't wait for the next part.

Oh i toh never want him to suffer dis much yaar.....lol.. Awesome update but tia offenly taking abt daddy these days aaj nahi toh kal geet ko pata chal hi jaana hai... God know how would she reacts.
