Curious random question.....how involved is a dialogue writer in the screenplay process I wonder.....it all begins with the story-writer, correct? THEN it is moved to the scripting level.....so isn't the dialogue writer in a sense dependent on whatever the storywriters come up with? Or are all these ppl.....the storywriter, the screenplay writer and dialogue writer all working in conjunction together simultaneously?? It's a collaborative vision?? But then who's babies are the characters to BEGIN with?
*Edit: Also random.....I found it amusing that he was a chemistry teacher before turning to writing as a profession😆
@ red - Aaah no wonder the chemistry quotient is not missing in Tasha 😃! 😆
@ blue - Jayesh Patil is the one who wrote Dutta's character sketch, keeping in mind his own dad. So I guess its got nothing to do with the dialogue writer. Even I would like to know what is the difference, or what is the distinction of "Job Descriptions" of a script writer, dialogue writers, then there are couple of other writers whom maybe am not aware of 🤔. And if there are a TEAM of writers, what is the nature of distribution of work 😕?! Is it that each writer is given to write the dialogues for particular characters, or is it scene based 😕?!
