*sigh*
Alright guys.. I feel I just have to point out a few things, which can be ignored by the most of us should we choose.. But even so, I feel the need to point it out.
First off, we are all well aware of people's desire to make "fake profiles" on IF and/or FB and then assume someone's identity without their permission. I really see NO reason to believe that this is in fact Aadesh himself - even though I haven't checked the page (so I could be wrong).. But we have to admit that there IS a high chance that this is probably just an imposter trying to rile fans.
And if it turns out that it is in fact the real Aadesh profile then I have to comment on the fact that sending an actor hate mail and/or asking him to "leave the show because we like another actor better" is just unfair.. It's NOT his fault that MR left.. And it is NOT his fault that he got offered the role. He's an actor by profession and therefore it makes sense if he takes a role he likes in a show he prefers.. Why we're begrudging him that, I know not. But I personally find it unfair - and it makes me sad. It is NOT his fault that MR left - he should NOT have to bear the brunt of our frustration.
So all that said, if he finally snaps (assuming it really is him and not some imposter) and if in that moment of frustration he ends up saying that there are far more people than us who watch the show, then honestly is he really that wrong?! Because the show is watched by a lot of people and if THEY decide they want to watch him, well then more power to them and more power to him. We, as audiences, have the authority to not watch a show we don't like.. And he has the right to assume that other people will prefer his acting too - what's the harm in that?
I personally feel that we're all just too annoyed/frustrated by MR's exit and isi liye we're all on a very short fuse.. Which is okay, I understand. But we have to realize where to place the blame - bashing an actor just because he took up a role and just because someone we liked is not in that show.. Well that's not fair! It's not fair to ask him to quit.. It's not fair to call him incompetent - I agree he isn't even close to MR, but SOMEONE might like him and he might have his fans, as he's entitled to have! Toh we have to be more tolerant. Those of us that don't want to watch his character in the show are free to stop watching the show (as most of us have).. But we need to stop harassing the actor - asking to leave or telling him he isn't good enough. Hate mail is never productive and eventually even the nicest of people snap.. And maybe, just maybe.. that's what happened here..
In the future, any unwarranted bashing of an actor or a character will not be tolerated. And we need to be a little more patient/accepting of other opinions or changes in general. We might not like it, but we cannot go around sending hate mail to actors - that's just not fair..
