title means nothing if you cannot prove that you are worthy of that title .....future will tell ..but what i have seen from this shows people who got voted out got more success than the one who won the title..but i am sure sandeep is in a very difficult position ...because even though he has sony he will have to struggle hard to maintain his title and get good reviews from the music big wigs .....as people will always compare him with others who got voted out and who had more talent ........but i say he needs this title becasue its the only thing that can put him in limelight for a long time . 😊 😊

Hey Sakshi, you've started a beautiful discussion. Congo for that! I think that talent matters in the long run no matter what. Title is equally important but as wise men have said that it's important to be successful but what is more important is to sustain that success. Only talented people can sustain that success in the long run. I can give examples of Mallika Sherawat, Neha Dhupia, Mamta Kulkarni etc. (no offence to anyone) who had all the media attention over them but none of them could sustain that attention like Rani Mukherjee, Madhuri Dixit, Kajol and Tabu. All these ladies had that talent in them that took them to great heights and they are known for their talent more than the awards or titles they won. Aamir Khan hasn't won as many awards as SRK or Hritik have won but he's touted as the BMW of Bollywood. That doesn't mean that SRK and Hritik are less talented. I guess they are also very very talented but Aamir has that edge of quality in his work and talent that perhaps others don't have.

TALENT IS WHAT MAKES YOU LIVE EVEN AFTER YOU ARE GONE. Rafi, Mukesh, Manna De, Kishore are LIVE examples of this fact. 😊 😊

Before the day is over on 22 April, Sandeep's career would have got a headstart, but the one thing that remains to be seen is if he can make a mark in the cut throat music industry...Abhijeet Sawant is still not singing his own numbers, and Qazi and Ruprekha's album came and went...without anything as a whimper! Here's hoping that the new Indian Idol does more than just perform at stage shows and cut a mandatory music album!- Courtesy Telly Chakkar

Well... this said it all.. We will add Sandeep's name to this list next year at the end of II3 and see the tag line..if he has an album or will the verdict be

Sandeep Acharya - performing stage shows only..!!!!

For that matter lets see what the music industry has in store for Karunya... if Shreya Ghosal and Kunal Ganjawalla and others will talent have been given a chance there is hope for him yet.

karunya has lost this battle
his victory of other battles and

will kick the title of II2 into the dust

Having both 'T's would be nice 😊
Having talent is important but it can go unnoticed if a person doesn't get the proper exposure or publicity so talent alone isn't enough. Instead of the 'title', I'd say talent along with a good amount of exposure/publicity is the best. Knowing the right people is also important.
