Chapter 1

A bright morning arises! People are dancing, singing and the street is very crowded. There is a baarat going through the streets of hosiarpur.

A man reaches a house in the street.

"Uff 'Yeh baarat world ki sabse khadus baarat thi..Uff..itni slow toh meri khatara gadi bhi nahi chalti.." says Bhagat ji in exhausted mood.

"Arre Bhagat ji" says munimji in surprise.

"Aree munimji ram ram'Kaise hai aap?"Bhagat ji

"Main theek hoon..aap yahan? kasie ho aap" says munimji greeting bhagat ji back.

"Main bhi theek hoo..Uffoo yeh baarate bhi na..World ki sabse khadus Baarat thi yeh" " Waise mohinder ji hai?"

"Ji hai na..Main abhi bulata hu unhe" replies Munimji.

Munimji shouts "Mohinder ji..dekhye yeh toh kon aaya hai"

And turns an old man from the pooja room " Aree Bhagat ji app? Namaste"

"Namaste Namaste'"greets Bhagat ji with a smile.

"Aap yaha kaise? Aapne humko bula liya hota ham khud chale aate..aapne takleef kyun uthayi" says Mohinder and they move toward the sofa to seat.

"Aree iss main takleef ki kya baat..Hosiarpur aaye kitna mahine hogaye so socha ki aap se bhi mil lunga aur kuch baate bhi hojayengi" says Bhagat ji.

Enters Rano

"Bhabhi ji Ram Ram..Kaisi ho aap aur aapka ghutno ka dard ab kaisa hai?" says Bhagat ji

"Namaste Bhagat ji..Ji abb kuch theek hai" says Rano with a smile.

"Ohh yeh aacha hai.." Bhagat ji says

"Aapka karowar kaisa chal raha hai bhagat ji" Says mohinder

Sab kuch theek chal raha hai mohinder ji..Woh hamari betiya dekhai nahi de rahi? Kaha hai woh" says bhagat ji in excitement.

"Who log yahi pe hai..Main bulata hoon" says mohinder turning to call Geet and Rajji.

"Geett betaaaa..Chutkiii'yaha aao toh'" shouts Mohinder

A beautiful girl comes from the kitchen with a tray in her hands. Looking at her big brown eyes anyone will fall for her. She looks so innocent. She's wearing a pink anarkali.

She continues to walk through and comes to the hall where they were sitting," Ji Namaste" She greets Bhagat ji and gives water to them and takes his blessing.

"You have grown so much" "when I left Hosiarpur you were only 11 years old" bhagat ji says.

Geet smiles and sits near Bhagat ji.

Kitni sanskari beti hai aapki..yeh dekhe ke bohot aacha laga..aaj kal aaisa laha dekhne ko milta hai" bhagat ji says.

"Ji'" Mohinder says with smile and proud, where Rano is fuming with anger and jealous.

"Didiii" shouts a girl coming downstairs.

"Aree chutki..Yahan aao.." Ji yeh meri choti beti Rajji hai" says Mohinder to rajji then bhagat ji

"Namaste" greets rajji to bhagat ji

She was a simple, very innocent girl who lacked in beauty compared to her sister Geet.

"Chutki , Geet jao tum log chai banake lao" says Mohinder to rajji and Geet.

"Ji mamaji" Politely says Geet and goes with rajji to the kitchen.

"Mohinder ji....app se kuch baat karni thi" says bhagat ji

"Ji kahiye na..." says Mohinder with smile.

Ji app woh famous Rajesh khurana ko toh jaante hai na?..Main yaha hosiarpur unke chote bete Maan ke rishte ke liye aaya tha.." says Bhagat ji

"Ji ji unhe kon nahi janta..Unki company toh bohot masur hai..He has scaled peaks from prosperity yet he is firmly rooted to simplicity" says Mohinder.

"Ji main yaha unke chote bete Maan Ke rishte ke liye ladki khojne aaya tha" Jab maine appni Geet ko dekha toh uski sanskriti aur uski khubsuriti bah gaya mujhe." Geet unke bete ke liye bohot aachi rahe gi.." says bhagat ji.

Rano looks up and is very Angry and Jealous that Geet will be getting married in such a Big family.

"Ji..Par woh toh itne bade log hai..Nahi hum unka samna nahi kar sakte" says Mohinder .

"Aree toh kya bade log ke bete kuware rahenge? ha? Dekhiye Geet ki bhi shaadi ki umar ho chuki hai bus aache lad ke ki talash hai..aur main yek bohot achi bahu ki prastav le kar unke ghar jaonga..." replies bhagat ji

"Par" says Mohinder but is cut off by bhagat ji.."Par war kuch nahi..agar aap ko ek aacha damad chahiye toh Mujhe Geet ki ek photo dijye.." says bhagat

"Ji..rukye...main bas abhi aya"..says Mohinder with delight and goes to get a Picture of Geet.
