Mini Mathur whips up a mean Lasagna and pan fried eggplant, but avoids desserts
Express News Service
Pune, April 7: This charming hostess has become a household name with her pleasing disposition in Indian Idol and interesting gupshup in Popcorn. Having begun her career with modelling, Mini Mathur moved on to become a vivacious VJ with MTV and is now considered to be one of the most popular anchors on the small screen. Married to documentary film maker Kabir Khan, few people know that Mini is a proud mother as well. The anchor shares her thoughts on good wining and dining.
I drool on: Spicy Chinese and Japanese food.
Favourite cuisine: Undoubtedly Japanese. The food is never overcooked and has very little oil and spice- a very healthy meal.
I hate: Nothing. Though I believe in eating right, I love the greasy oily stuff available at hotels. Chef's Corner: I don't cook all that much, but I do whip up a mean Lasagna and some sinful Thai recipes as well. Fitness Mantra: I make it a point to eat everything in moderation. During the day, I keep myself hydrated with lots of water and fruits. Once a fortnight, I indulge in bitter dark chocolate, and though I have lots of non-vegetarian food, I prefer to gorge on fish.
Home Truths: I love to make pan fried eggplant mixed in garlic and curd.
