Anisha loves being bad
Buzz up!

Anisha Kapur, who plays the hot and stylish negative lead Ragini in Sanskaar Laxmi on Zee Tv, is enjoying the reactions for her performance.

She is glad that unlike her other shows where she used to shed tears, she makes others cry in her latest show.

Anisha explains, "The role of Ragini is a refreshing change as is the look and makeup. My family was sick of watching me cry in my previous shows and they are now glad that I am finally smiling. Yesterday, I met a fan who was surprised to know that this is my first negative role. It was a compliment as she felt I play Ragini very convincingly."

Ragini is very hep and stylish unlike most vamps on TV, who tend to go over the top in terms of look and makeup. When asked about her contribution to Ragini's look Anisha reveals, "It was my decision to experiment with my makeup. Just because I am playing a vamp, I didn't want to look loud or garish. I wanted to maintain a contrast between Ragini's manipulative nature and her innocent face. As for my outifits, my stylist Zeba has put in a lot of effort and is doing a great job."

Talking about her personal style, Anisha claims, "I love wearing western outfits in real life too. I am more of a jeans and T-shirt person. I wear saris occasionally but I am not too fond of salwar kameez. However, if given a choice, I would choose western outfits any day."

Anisha's look in her recent dance competition sequence in the show received rave reviews. Anisha had donned a turquoise coloured tube dress that showed off her toned body perfectly. Speaking about the outfit, she says, "I was a little skeptical when I first saw the dress because you don't usually see actresses wearing such tiny dresses on TV." As for the dance steps, she declares, "I love dancing but was left scandalized when I was informed I would have to do hip-hop. I am a trained Kathak dancer and am currently learning ballroom dance from Sandip Soparrkar but hip-hop is totally different. However, I attended the rehearsals and thankfully it turned out well. I got a positive response for my performance on the Nimbooda track."

When asked about her rapport with co-stars Anisha smiles, "I share a very good rapport with them. For the first two months I was shooting with Rohit Purohit only but later I got the opportunity to bond with the rest of the cast during the wedding sequence. Off screen, we are always cracking jokes and having fun. Everyday, we have a ball."

Anisha, also, reveals that in real life she does not identify with Ragini much. "In real life, I am quiet and a good listener. I love making friends but it takes me time to open up to people as I don't talk too much."

Catch Sanskaar Laxmi on Zee tv to find out Ragini's next move.

Actually all the girls were very good in dancing but the same can't be said for the guys.

However I think CVs overdid it with all the singing and dancing yada yada, totally killed the mood 🤢

han lekin anisha ji ka dance sabse zyada achcha tha aur woh bahut hi sunder dikh rahi thi.
woh sach mein bahut achchi actress bhi hai. mujhe bhi aesa nahi lagta ki unhone pehli baar negative role kiya hai kyunki woh itne achche se acting karti hai.
