Damodar gets my vote for not realizing something is terribly wrong with Savita. Being forgetful about one incident is fine but there have been a series of incidents since then, like her forgetting the day Manav was supposed to come see her, her forgetting about the milk on the stove, giving Damodar the wrong bill and most recently and most alarming being that she forgot Sachu at the market. All of this should be enough to send Damodar into a panic and realize that Savita is not herself, that this is out of character for her.

I think all the things u mentioned, except forgetting Sachu, r not that out of character. That woman is going thru a lot and anyone wud forget such small things if u r so depressed and tensed. In my opinion, not just Damodar, but also Manav, shud hav focused on how cud Savita forget Sachu, instead of yelling at her and breaking ties!!

Manav did not yell at his mom, he spoke calmly to her hoping she would understand what really happened instead of blaming Archana.
