I wish I could understand Bengali...but she gave the translation afterward which was that the husband had to promise to always take care of the wife

yup she said that and it meant that from today i am in charge of ur food and clothes

i feel so lucky that i know bengali

when ever they say something in bengali i just know what it means

but i know how u feel

that what happens to me when i watch a show with marathi background

I know...one of my friends is bengali so i always ask her what they said whenever they say Bengali

I wish more shows of the Guju background would use Gujrati more...I mean Bandini was the only one that did that

BTW my aunt is also Guju(mami) and Saathiya has Guju background (my mom loves that show and TL)
