Are you 'Ready'?
A source from Bollywood informs us, "The good news is that this year promises big releases post the gaming spell. The first big project to hit the screens after the IPL is Bhushan Kumar's'Ready', starring Salman Khan and Asin, and is slated for release on 3rd June, 2011."
The film is directed by Aness Bazmee and is expected to bring back the magic created by the Salman-Anees jodi as seen in the movie No Entry. Asin's fans too have a reason to celebrate as the actress has rumored to have outdone herself this time!
When contacted, Aness Bazmee he said, "Yes, we have planned the release very nicely and the credit goes to our producers who have managed to get the slot. India is a cricket lovers' country and everyone prefers watching cricket at home to going to the cinema to watch a movie. So we are not releasing the film during World Cup or IPL season as both the events are very popular."
The film has been produced by T-series and Rajat Rawail.
The cricket season is here with the World Cup and IPL matches lined up for the next few months. Bollywood usually sees a dry run at the box office during this time as fans are busy with the next biggest thing in the country-cricket!
