Bollywood really needs to change...such scenes are not even needed....it just spoils it.....it does be uncomfortable when watching with family and do they think actors/actresses feel comfortable doing them? i don't think they do, some of them maybe and i guess it puts some actors/actresses off from accepting to the do the film coz of this!!

i grew up watching bollywood films & i loved it even more bc of the lack of sex scenes i disliked watching hollywood films for their ridiculous scenes but now there is more & more of it in bollywood. I remember the first kissing scene i saw was between aamir & Karishma in raja hindustan i was shocked & traumatized 😆

yeah that was one long, long kiss and it just won't stop. 😆 I remember they showed Raja Hindustani a few days ago and I totally forgot about that kiss scene....when they showed it my mom was right there next to me and I was so embarrassed. 😳 Usually my mom would scoff when they show a kissing scene...but for that one she just stayed silent. 😆

That was my first exposure to kissing scenes in Bollywood. I never really did mind for that one as I felt that kiss was crucial for the story. Anyways, nowadays sex & kiss scenes are in every channel, every movie. It is actually sad that Bollywood depends on these scenes & item numbers to make their movies work. That makes BW sound very, very lame....... 🤔

Well... I disagree with the article...
The items songs... the titillation... may grab the eye balls ...may get the intial euphoria....the intial openings ...but what sustains the movie is the content..the entertainment factor....And I am talking of the majority of the movies...
And Dabangg did not become such a big Blockbuster because of Malaika and the item song.... If the movie was bakwaas and not entertaining it would have fallen flat like a TMK....
It clicked bcoz it was entertaining....and the entire credit goes to Salman...
Look at the other top movies of last year...Rajneeti...G3...MINK...OUATIM....I did not see any titillation in it...neither any of them had any popular item songs....
They worked bcoz of either the content...or the entertainment factor or the script or because of the stars...
And the movies which worked this year...NOKJ ... It clicked again bcoz of a tight script and good performances by Rani and Vidya... and not bcoz of those gaalis...
Same with YamlaPaglaDeewana too... I have not watched it...But from what i have heard it worked bcoz of the content and the performances...
And coming to the kissing scenes and the sex scenes in some of the movies...Yes I do agree that we see more of them compared to the 90's....
Well...That again is a sign of changing times and a reflection of the society we are in...
The India in the 90's is totally different than what i is now...Atleast in the metropolis the lifestyle...the culture...the society.. has changed and the movies and the bold themes are a reflection of that....
