But the reasoning for women getting pregnant younger is because of the increased risks in "ill effects" on their fetuses if they're older is right Doctor Saab?đ
my take on this whole issue is very different ji. The "ill effects", "the abnormalities"...not my thing. If I start, I'll write up an essay, and then most likely offend some people. So keeping shut on it.
However, after a certain age there is a higher chance ji. The key word is chance. It is not 100% certain, but the abortion rates even in this uncertainty is 90%. Many women feel that they need to be screened after a certain age, even when they can say no. Which on the doctor's part is wrong, b/c he/she has not properly informed the patient about her choices etc. Then the women are not told that there can be false positives, and 95% of them only do one test and abort.
I am not against the women wanting to abort, their choice. However, the information needs to be complete. This can lead to psychological problems in some women b/c it was a "forced" abortion. So many factors come into play. anyways, I digress....sorry.
