"Well, I don't like the constant media glare. I'm a very introverted kind of person and I don't have much to talk about. What can I talk about and I don't think anyone would be interested in my life.

I don't answer the phone because mostly I get crank calls. I don't know where these people get my number from but they leave all kinds of weird messages on my answering machine. The weirdest one I got was from this lady who called up and didn't know what to say so she said, 'aapne last time jo 20kgs rice bejha tha woh bahut mehenga bheja, agli baar hum bhav karke lenge. Hame aatta, bhi chahiye, ghar pe bhijwa dena. mera number hai...' what can I say It was hilarious. I can't do much so I let my answering machine deal with them."

"You can't build relationships on a weak base, They break. . What had to happen did happen and there was nothing one could do about it. Now I'm scared. I'm still recovering from that. I don't want to get into anything right now. I'm still searching. Hopefully I'll get someone someday. But, the way I look at it, I'm in my 30s, divorced and an actor, what can go more wrong? Which parents would want their daughter to get married to a guy like that?"

"Oh don't talk about female fans. I get all kinds of them right from 6-60. Once there was a young girl who turned up at my doorstep at 7am with a bunch of flowers and said it was her birthday and she wanted to spend the day with me. Once a bunch of aunties turned up at my home in the middle of the afternoon and I was in my baaniyan and pajamas, I don't know who was more embarrassed."

"There are lot of things for body an soul as in different religion, as for Muslims when you pray five times a day you don't need to do anything else to keep you fit, as in Buddhist or other you do yoga..." etc

This is what I have morning and evening - Tea and cupcakes. I love it. It's a great combination. Every evening I get them delivered home. I know my way around kitchen but I don't cook that often. I know basic cooking. Since I live alone, I get the maid to cook for me. I generally make the breakfast. Some form of eggs or the other."

"For a long time I had no work. I wasn't doing anything and nobody wanted to cast me. Then after a huge gap I did Baghbaan but there were still no good offers. Then the role of Purab was offered to me and I took it up. A few months later Dil Kya Chahata Hai was also offered and I took that up as well. Both these roles interested me a lot and look what they have done for me! "
