Mithun chakarvarty called as Mithun da not only this show but everywhere. Da or Dada is always added with artists or famous personality from Bengal, like Manna da, Abhijeet da, Jyoti da or Kishore da. One way adding "da" or "dada" is giving respect like "Shri", "Jee" in Hindi, "Saheb" in urdu. So, to me "Da" literal meaning is brother but actually it is used to give respect. Mithun da word is final on everything in this show, I have seen the way Mithun da controlling mentors. If mentors show unreasonable favor to their contestants or defending he went against him. Go by role Mithun da playing here.

I was going to make a topic on this , but I forgot it. My mom and I both did not like how he gave blessings to Surya's parents. That was not nice at all. Even if they did go to take it, he should have stopped them, but NOOO, he sticks out his big hand and gives them blessing! He's probably younger or the same age as them. He is not in any position to give them blessing, in fact, he should take their blessings, if anything! It made me very irritated, and it was just one more reason to make me not like Mitun da!

I was thinking the same GM always gives aashirwaad to everybody 's parents ... I think he feels he is God now ... actually I find him to be a bore .. hope they replace him next season
