One of the commitments we received in keeping this section open was that members will put hundred percent effort in maintaining decorum. That meant that no one would reply, quote or address anyone or any post that was offensive or bashing. The only thing done would be reporting and ignoring.
Unfortunately, in this and several other threads fans are quoting, responding, and arguing back and adding to the chaos. I understand that there are others coming in and instigating you. However, when you argue back you are equally culpable of inciting them.
I hope fans at some point realize that the ONLY and honestly ONLY reason why people bash celebrities is because fans make a big deal about it. If you learned to ignore and not give them a rise out of it, they will eventually get bored and stop it. Fans arguing for celebrities only amuses bashers and trolls even more, and they keep doing it.
Also please try to think through and be articulate when you report. There too many frivolous reports on mere disagreements, differences of opinions, and verbiage rather than genuine derogatory language. In fact going through frivolous reports prevents us from being able to address something that maybe more serious out there.
If members expect Dev Team to continue our end of the bargain in keeping this forum open then they should keep their end of the bargain too by maturing, learning to handle issues reasonably and putting their full effort in maintaining decorum until issues are addressed.
