koko's point is actually true...i heard from some sources on twitter and facebook tht ronit roy's speech when he won best supporting actor for udaan, was very moving considering it was his very first filmfare despite being an actor for decades....but they only showed him going "yaaay" n stuff..and cut the damn speech out...how bloddy rude...

really i didnt realise why do they do that they have all the time in the world to show the performances but not the actual speech😕

i know...they have time to show sonu nigam doing pointless stuff with all the stars and some silly performances, but they cut out the speeches from actual winners??? not having bebo or srk madz perform would not have been a big deal...infact, it would have been much better if the number of performances were cut down..especially the ones where ppl just give expressions and sway at one spot rather than dancing....

the award nite is for the winners...kam se kam speeches toh dikhao!!

I know I like watching the speech but no.....................they want to show the important stuff such as Sonu Nigam singing with the industry and then they want to show the dancing that we already sort of know about but come on man I like speeches but not if they are tooo long

It is ridiculous...

For some of the lesser known ones they dont even give them enough time to talk....

Instructions are given to get them off the stage...

and the ones who give the speech are also edited to fit the stars performances and the lame jokes...

But kya karein... That is what the general TV viewing public wants... SRK with his outstretched arms and flaring nostrils... Madhuri whimpering and simpering... Katrina with her pelvic thrusting.... and Ranbir and Imran with their juvenile jokes....

oh dont worry, Jitesh will redeem himself by sucking up to Lataji if she ever decides to show up to some FF related event...sitting by her charan, clicking pics n tweeting them & I specifically mention Jitesh, here, since he thinks he is the karta-dharta of FF.

You know I don't blame filmfare. Yes it's rude...but I do the same thing when I watch these awards. I only listen to the speeches that famous ones make esp my favorites and the others I fast forward. But if the speech was good they should have kept it! I would have liked to hear the Udaan actor's speech considering it was his first win. And I rather watch performances than a boring speech.
