Mumbai- Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has beat Lara Dutta, Kareena Kapoor and Mallika Sherawat to be the hottest vegetarian in a poll done by PETA.

According to the reports, Vidya has not only left behind the Indian beauties but also international hottie Natalie Portman in the online poll by People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

Reports say that Vidya has shared the award with the former union minister of state for external affairs Shashi Tharoor who was voted the hottest male vegan.

He scored over the likes of big names such as Amitabh Bachchan, Madhavan and Shahid Kapoor.

Poorva Joshipura, chief of PETA, stated "Vidya Balan and Shashi Tharoor embody many admirable qualities, but their commitment to a vegetarian diet that's as kind to animals and the earth."

She beat Natalie Portman...that's really awesome

I didn't even think Vidya could be considered for that😆

Congrats to Vidya. I do not find her hot, but I do think she is the most beautiful actress in Bollywood today. She has a classical charm to her. (IMO)
