When I first started watching this show I didn't like the way Aham spoke. He had a pretty thick accent which I didn't understand. I didn't know where it came from and it didn't fit with the family's dynamics. I didn't like the way he spoke or pronounced his words. Most actors are able to hide their accents but not Nazim.

The last few episodes and weeks we have seen Aham speak more than ever. As I get used to hearing him speak I find that I like the way he speaks. His accent and pronunciations are uniquely his and I LIKE IT.

What do you all think? Am I becoming too much of a Nazim fan? Am I being pulled on to the Nazim bandwagon?

Sadhli? Tammie? Girls? Thoughts?

since he is getting more scene he must be improving.. though i didn't find his dialogue delivery upto the mark... but now i think... he is giving his best shot...
Naazim belongs from cHandigarh, and i did feel he carry that accent whenever he used to speak... esp, the dialogues which has heavy duty words, i didn't find them up to the mark... but now he is doing justice...
i really like the way he talked with his father in last episode... so stable and up to the mark...

i agree with you guys... though he is improving a lot but still needs to work on perfect hindi words like 'Patni'... he makes it sound like 'Patani'... but thats an accent that came to him over the years, so i don't blame him if he can't change it immediately... but an effort is always appreciated

Agree Sam, two things have happened.

1st he is doing much better with dialogue delivery...not 100% but much better than at the beginning.

2nd I think I have gotten used to it and am able to look past the accent.

@Sadhli, yes I knew you would be on this bandwagon with me. :)

Diya, I know he still pronounces some words funny but that has become part of the way he is! The way we love him.

He will never be able to do it the way Rupal ennouces words. ..that is amazing!!! Her accent is wonderful.

@Sam didn't know he was from Chandigarh...only that he was Punjabi.

I am totally with you all! He has improved a lot and hopefully gets better. Even lookswise, his current hairstyle is far better than the one he had in the first few episodes. Yes! his accent does grow on us!
