Geet looked at sleeping maan, she touched his face lightly, a happy smile spreading on her face. This was the first time, she was touching him without the usual fear of being rejected. He was so beautiful, so perfect. She could stare at him forever. She laughed silently at her own condition. She felt like she was drunk, drunk on Maan Singh Khaurana.

She was not interested in s** that much, always thought of it as a duty but today her perspective have been changed. His kisses were always drugging, the pleasure unlike any other but still this time, it was different. It had escalated to something else, what she did not know.

May be because she could feel him desiring her from both heart and body. She knew he still didn't love her but now she again had this hope that may be one day he will surrender to the power of love. May be....

she knew she was hopeless, she had seen so many couples yesterday, met someone, spent time with others, playing games and stuff. She had noticed that many girls were coy never letting the guy know for sure that if they were really interested or merely flirting but geet could not follow there lead.

She had announced her love to him years ago.

Geet felt the slight cold in the air, they had not turned the heater on too occupied in each other. Geet looked around for something to wear. Her sari was near the door, it was so cold, she grabbed maan's shirt from floor and put it on. Then, slowly got out of bed. She turned the electrical heater on. Then, looking around at messy room couldn't stop herself and start gathering the clothes. It was only 3 yet and the uni buses will leave at 6. she couldn't sleep now or she will miss the bus which will create real havoc as buses will not leave until all students were accounted for.

''May be I should take a bath''geet decided and went to the door to her left. She went inside,it had dark green theme, just like the room. her bare feet felt ice cold on cold marble. Geet closed the door and went toward the shower, it was set in a huge green marbled bath tub, the size of a small swimming pool.

Geet turned the hot water tab until water start flowing, then, she sttod under the hot water. It evaporated all her cold and relaxed her slightly stiff muscles.

Maan opened his eyes the moment geet stepped inside the washroom. He had been unable to sleep but still he had kept his eyes closed. He knew he was stalling, the step which he had taken last night was irreversible and things will never go back to what they were before.

He closed his tightly, why he had done this, he had no idea but one thing he knew that he needed to seriously think now because last night maan had accepted that geet was his wife and he had even declared it to Rohit.

Soon, other people were going to learn about it as she will learn about it. Will she be angry or forgive as was her nature?

He knew she would accept his decision but was this his decision?

Agitated he rolled in bed to the other side and put his head beneath the pillow. Could he accept geet, respect her like a wife should be respected. Knowing that each time he looked at her face, he will be seeing geet's mother?

Could he accept the child of that women who had destroyed his family, literally scattered them so badly that even after more than 20 years they were separate.

And most importantly, did geet really loved him or was she just like her mother who played with people emotion? He was not ragvinder who will watch all this with broken heart,he was Maan singh khaurana, he will retaliate, he will never bear it if she was playing game with him.

There were two dark shadows in her life, one he will ignore because it was not her fault but if second proved true, then she will wish that she had never met him.

But a part of his mind spoke, right now she is innocent, she says she loves you, who can bear this much disrespect and pain unless the person is in love? Why waste this beautiful time worrying about a future which might never occur. You are Maan Singh Khaurana, you have everything a girl dreams about, everything to make a women fall in love but this women is already under your spell, use it to blind her to anything else. You desire her, she is legally,religiously every way your wife. There is no need to stop yourself.

Maan looked at time, it was 3:40. she needed to be on uni bus at 6, and he won't be able to see her till night. Decision made he got up and went after her without noting the flaws in his thinking, not wondering that what if he was the one who got caught in spell, not understanding that love sneaked upon you when you are thinking you are safe and finally, not understanding that if a women can give love unquestionably then, that love is precious and should be treated with care lest you are left with nothing but shards of broken dreams..

6 a.m.

Geet got into the bus after pari who was groggy from slep. Geet herself was sleepy . She sat into the bus looking at the white surf parked in the parking lot. She could see maan in there. Geet quickly looked away knowing already that her cheeks were pink but as it was really cold everyone would, hopefully, think that cold air was the cause for it.

One thing was sure, she will never be able to bath without remembering maan. She wondered will he remain same back in Delhi? Hopefully, he will get better. They were still not talking but at least he had not shouted at her even once, that was improvement. Coming to manali was the best thing which ever happened to her.

rohit was sitting in his kitchen with a cup of hot coffee to clear his head when shashank strolled in.

shashank,''anything to eat?''

rohit gestured toward the oven.

Rohit,''i searched for you last night but couldn't find you?''

Shashank,''why?''

rohit,''i lost the bet.''

shashank,''which one.''

rohit,''marriage one.''

shashank stopped chewing for a moment then started eating again.''don't pull my leg so early in the morning.''

rohit said nothing.

Shashank,''you serious.''

Rohit,''yeah.''

shashank,''where is he?''

rohit,''back to delhi.''

shashank,''well, I am not really surprised, he is very traditional but whom he married?''

rohit,''you are not angry that he didn't invite us.''

shashank,''he must have his reason and I am going to make him redo each ceremony, so..''

rohit,''yeah, I figured same but any way I am happy for him, she really suits him. After whats he is been through he deserve some one special.''

shashank,''yeah, remember we used to go to games after college and he used to run straight to office.''

rohit,''yeah, he was always worried about his grand ma that she was working at her age.''

shashank,''who is the lucky girl, have I met her?''

rohit,''geet, the girl in white saree.''

shashank put the toast down. ''what but..i thought..?

rohit,''she is our bhabhi, off limits.''

shashank,''nah, she was with some other guy, I saw her earlier yesterday with him and even at party they were hugging.''

rohit went silent frowns marring his forehead,''which guy?''

shashank,''i will get you the name.''

rohit,''first make sure that what you are saying is true the we will tell maan. Meanwhile don't say anything, you know his anger.

no no no! there cant be more trouble- Maan is already unsure about her motives and this will just add to it,, I fear for Geet:(
