Shahid takes a dig at 'Sheila ki Jawani'

Actor Shahid Kapoor has always been politically correct in public. Ditto with his reported girlfriend Priyanka Chopra. But on Thursday night, at an event, Shahid apparently made an off-the-cuff remark on Katrina Kaif's recent item song 'Sheila ki jawaani'.

Twitter then suddenly came abuzz with this apparent comment. Shahid apparently said, "Tees Maar Khan is just like Sheila ki jawaani. There's nothing in it…so it should have ended there."

Says a source present at the event, "For somebody who was not listening intently, it's very easy to miss that remark. But we all heard it clearly. He was not looking at anything in front of him when he said that."

Interestingly, there are reports that both Katrina and Priyanka don't see eye-to-eye with each other; both of them were present at the venue as they had their performances. They were apparently not in the audience when the remark was made.

Filmmaker Farah Khan was also unaware of the remark and that it was being discussed on Twitter. "I don't know about any remark made on the film. But whatever Shahid has said or not about the film, I only want to say that God bless him," said Farah.

I kinda get what he's saying (if he said it), Sheila Ki Jawani is just a song, so it shouldn't have been used as a gauge to determine if TMK would be a good movie
