After the TT, ND started with introductions,
hostel girls (I'll skip as you all ready know them),
the Day Scholar girls next,
Suchana and Namrata from BHEL (better known as bhelians)
Sudesh from 1200 quarters, Astha from old Bhopal, Smriti from Mact daughter of some prof. (they were better knownas the TNTians)
The day scholar boys,
Saurabh from Arera Colony, Ajeet from Beragad, Kapil from Old Bhopal, Devarshi from 1200 quarters,(all TNTians), and Krishna and Satish(bhelian)
The hostel boys,
Rohit, Amit from U.P, Pushpendra from Rajasthan,
Kuldeep from Delhi, Shailesh, Geley and Karma from Bhutan, RamBachan and Kishore from Himachal,
Sujeet and Naveen from Bihar,
Rahul from Maharashtra, Prem from Andhra,
Subojeet from Bengal, Amar from M.P.(Jabalpur)
So, being a regional engineering college the half strength of the class is from same state i.e., M.P and rest from other Indian states, 3 seats were reserved for forgien students (Bhutan)
While the intro was taking place Mrs. ST arrived whose lecture was scheduled accompanied by Sameera Ma'am and Supriya Ma'am
Sameera ma'am elobrated, that
Each year will have 2 semesters
Exams will be conducted per semester
There will be 6 subjects per semester
Namely, Design, Graphics, Construction, Structures, History and Humanities
All subjects will be taken by the prof's from the dept but structures will be taught by Prof. P.V. Raman from Civil engineering branch
There will be 5 working days 8:15am to 4:30 pm
Each day will have 8 periods
Each period will be of 50 mins, the lunch break will be of 1 hr 35 mins so that hostelers can go to their hostel for lunch
And lastly all subjects expect structures will have 1 main prof and 2 assiting teachers
Any questions (she looked around, and smiled) as usual no questions your turn Supriya
Hello class I'm Supriya, yaar yes no to bolo immediately every one said yes ma'am
She smiled and started
Firstly Design your main teacher is Ms. Charumitra Kapse, and again we 2, I and Sameera will assist her
Visual Arts Ramesh Jain Sir will take; VAs is a part of Design
Graphics will be taken by her pointing to Mrs. ST, she is Mrs. Sonia Taneja, and we will again be with her
Construction will be taken by him pointing to ND, assited by Yogesh Sir and Vinay Sir
History will be taken be Ramesh Jain Sir
Humanities or sometimes known as Communication skills is basically connected to English, Econoimcs etc. it will be taken by Ms. Reena Tiwari from our Deptt. and Ms. Vinita Mahendru from Humanities Deptt.
So class 'm finished you might not be having any questions
Look class we here have no bells we look at our watches to find if the class is off or not, the bell rings at the other corner of the building near the Administrative Wing, and we all hardly ever heard it (smiles) (no response)
They take there leave, Geet looks at her watch it was almost 11:30 am , and no one realized,
ND came back with few seniors, saying Raju and the gang you all can talk to them in my presence till its time to leave, and boys will not bother girls, Shilpa (one of the 2nd yrs) you all can talk to the girls don't disturb the boys
