Actor Sameer Soni, who is the latest one to be evicted from a reality show this season, says that he feels sad that he couldn't be in the finale after coming so far in the show.
Sameer's exit has come just a week before the finals, and the timing has upset Sameer. The actor who is known to be a recluse surprisingly turned out to be one of the most chatty contestants while on the show.
Ask him how he feels to be evicted in the last lap and he says, "I know that in such shows there is only one winner but I feel good within as I completed the journey successfully. I also feel bad to be out but that's life. I feel the show has rigged my votes," he laughs.
Now that he is out, what is his New Year resolution this year? "I surely want to do more of TV. It is a great medium to be a part of." And does he want to do more reality shows in particular? "I guess most reality shows are based on dancing and singing, both of which are not my cup of tea! I would love to host a show though," he says.
Quiz him about marriage and Sameer says, "Yes that is my resolution too — to marry this year. In fact I'm already too old so I don't think I should waste any more time. I will take the plunge soon. Butit will happen if she (girlfriend Neelam Kothari) still loves me after seeing me everyday on the show," he laughs. Sameer says that TV and marriage aside, movies are also on his list now. "Of course they (movies) are on my agenda. I have not been signed for any movie but let's see if Karan Johar (film-maker) wants to work with me. But I want to direct my script soon too. This one thing I will start working on now that I am out," he ends.
