Thanks for all your support which has made me start this new FF. while I will retain the characters of the show, the story will be different. Hope you will all like and enjoy it.
Chapter 1
It was a beautiful day. The Modi mansion was vibrating with work. Kokila Modi was yelling at her servants to compete their work. Usually she was hard task master and today was worse. She wanted everything to be perfect. Yes perfect since her beloved son was coming home after three years of estrangement. The thought of her son made her both happy and sad. Happy because he was blessed with everything one dreams of: beauty, wealth, education, love and an excellent business mind. Sad because, his person life created a rift between him and his family.
While making all the preparations kokila's mind raced to the day three years back. Parag modi< kokila's husband along with his friend Chirag Gupta ran the MM corporate. They dealt with as many businesses as possible and finding success in every venture. Kokila and Parag were blessed with a son Aham, while Hetal and Chirag have a son Jigar. Unfortunately their only daughter died in a fire accident some twenty years back.
Aham was the apple of their eyes. He was brilliant in studies and handsome in looks. Even at an young age he helped his father with their family business. Since they insisted he went to the US to finish his business management and topped it. Kokila was waiting for her son's return with high expectation. First she was meeting her son after five years second he was a topper in his exams and third he had promised his mother a beautiful surprise. Kokila could not assess what that surprise could be. On that particular day Aham reached home with great fanfare. Kokila had not left anything to make a memorable return for her son. After all initial blessing and chats, Aham turned towards his mother and said: mom I have bought you a beautiful surprise. So please close your eyes. When Kokila opened her eyes, she was in for a shock. The beautiful surprise was a girl standing smiling besides Aham. Every ion of her blared a foreign upbringing. She had a short hair, sleeveless shirt, high heels and to top it all a tattoo on her right arm. Kokila was horrified. Unaware of it Aham pulled the girl close to him and said: mom this is Anita, my girlfriend and more than that. I brought her so that you can meet her and give your blessings.
Kokila was raging inside. Never in her wildest dreams had she thought that her son would be attracted to this kind of a girl. The moment she set her eyes on her she assessed her character and was disgusted by it. Since she did not want to create a scene before everyone, Kokila forced a smile and took them inside. Anita's eyes were sparkling like stars. She knew Aham was rich but never expected him to be this rich. She also guessed that Kokila did not like her. But she was a tough girl. She knew that in the whole world money was most important thing and she had clawed her way to this position to achieve it. She will not lose it now. She said to Aham, wow what a beautiful house. The decoration and art are so fabulous. Aunty your jewels are so beautiful. Your saree is lovely'. She went on blabbering. Kokila's shrewd eyes saw the whole acting she was performing. She decided never to allow her to marry her son. Kokila wanted a cultured girl for her family. A girl who would love the family and not it money. It was fate that Hetal and Chirag's daughter had died; otherwise she would have married Aham.
Now Kokila had to do something to stop Aham marring the girl Anita. What can she do?
Soon Kokila and Parag corned Aham and expressed their displeasure. Aham was so deeply in love with Anita that he did not see her false face. He argued with his parents about his happiness and his love. While their conversation was going on Anita did a trick. She burst inside the room and started crying to aham about the insult she had to bear and ran out crying. She told him to forget her and that she is going back to US and left him. All the time Anita knew Aham will follow her against her parents wish and she can trap him. But she did not realize the great brain of Kokila was following her every move. After Anita's departure, Aham was heartbroken. He accused his parents for destroying his life and said that he will marry Anita and none other. Just then Kokila stopped him and said: beta whatever I do it is for your benefit. I will prove that I m always right. Just do one thing when you meet that girl again say that you have signed a paper giving up your right on the property and that you are penniless. Say that you have only your love with you. If she accepts you then I will not be against your marriage. If she rejects know that your mother is always right.
Aham left his parents in a huff. But his mind rang with his mother's words. It has been three years from that incident. Now kokila is waiting for her son's return. After that he never contracted them, never talked to them. He was like a recluse. How will her son react to her now? Has is pain passed over? What had he done with Anita? Only Aham can answer now. Kokila is waiting for those answers
