Aishwarya Rai has been voted the best actress of the year 2010 in the latest poll carried by ApunKaChoice.
For the last few years, Ash has been getting pipped at the post by the likes of Vidya Balan or Priyanka Chopra. But this year, her stellar performance as a nurse looking after a death-seeking quadriplegic in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Guzaarish has won many a heart, though the film may have tanked at the box office.
Other noticeable performances came from Kajol in My Name Is Khan, Vidya Balan in Ishqiya and Katrina Kaif in Raajneeti.
Of these performances we had asked our readers to vote the best. We received 10,867 votes, out of which an overwhelming majority (77 percent) voted for Aishwarya Rai.
