Sorted! Abhinav Shukla in Kudesan?

Abhinav Shukla is a happy man now. Shukla who had a tough time sorting his dates for Shakuntalam Telefilms' Kudesan as he is busy doing STAR One's Geet, is finally onboard.
He was earlier compensated with a pivotal character in Laado after his unavailability to do Kudesan as the production house was keen on casting him. But the latest development on that front is that Shukla will now be able to allocate his dates for Kudesan and has been signed on as the male lead of the show. The shooting of the same is apparently going to commence from 20th of December and the channel is planning to launch it by the 17th of January.
Informs our source, "There was some confusion regarding Abhinav's participation in Kudesan. He is doing Geet and apparently was unable to work his dates out for Shakuntalam Telefilms' second show on COLORS. He was later offered a role in Laado post the leap. But Shukla managed to sort out the date issue and is now finalised for Kudesan. His character will apparently be named Mahesh aka Micchi on the show. The show also features seasoned actress Navneet Nishan and Devi's male lead Abhaas Mehta. They are now looking for the female lead of the show."
Shukla had then told Indya.com that doing two shows simultaneously wouldn't be a problem for him as Endemol that produces Geet would be happy to relieve him for another project. When contacted for a confirmation over his participation in Kudesan, he said, "I don't know."
We sent a text message to producer Shyamasis Bhattacharya but he didn't revert.
We will wait for them to make an official announcement on the show.
