maan just was speechless with the affection she showered into his berang si zindagi. She was every thing he could wish for. His love, his friend, his companion, she meant the world to him. He always felt alone until her, he didn't love himself until her, he didn't care about life until her, he never held a friends hand until her, No one had ever held him for no reason, until she did, No one
had ever had ever truly known him, until she did' his life seemed incomplete without her.
Geet hain tho maan hain geet nahi tho maan bhi nahi. He would do anything for her.
Mid of feb maan was really working hard to complete the books geet had photocopied.
His hard work was commendable he put in like 16-17hrs every single day. Not sure if he was studying in right way or easy way but he worked harder each day. He had completed revision at least 3times. He did work around the model question papers & old question papers.
It was a Monday. Geet came to his place at 8.15am & walked into his flat. Maan ran back to his
house wondering what was she up to.
Daadi was just leaving to office then. Geet smiled hiding some things behind. Daadi left in a hurry
Geet ran to his room - happy valentine's day
She kissed him madly on his cheeks & spends the whole day with him bunking her school. She removed her shoes cuddled up in the bed & he sat in study table continued with his studies. She got him chocolates, flowers & a pen as gift. Maan kept looking at her every now & then. Her presence was never a distraction in fact it drive him to do better. She turned around & lied resting her cheeks on her hand & watching him her legs where folding & opening. Maan suddenly noticed blisters on her legs & ran to sooth them that was the first time he ever expressed any thing. He just looked at legs & tears formed in his eyes he looked away & shouted at her in pain what happened. She jumped up in fear folding her legs in.
geet - kuch nahi
maan held her arms fuming in anger - kya huwa?
She could not see the anger in his eyes, she looked down - woh main gurdwara gayee thi
Maan pressed her hand tighter
Geet - barefoot
He kept looking for more detailed answer
Geet - mama manath mangthi hain, tho maine bhi waise hi kiya
He left her hand & turned away
Geet - aapki exams ke liya
His heat just felt heavy & filled.
Geet - 13 Sundays ke liya karna hain, 6 Sundays hogaya hain. It will finish with your exams
He closed his eyes & tears just welled down. He went into the washroom & cried.
He washed his face & came back after few mins. He went back to his table & worked harder.
Before going home she went & stood behind him. Slipping her hand around his neck & resting her chin on his head. She stood there for few mins & kissed him again & said I love u.
he looked into her eyes. She always said it whole heartedly. He wanted to say but he was never able say anything to her, he just gave a blank look back probably that look meant a lot to her.
Mar 3rd board first paper geet met him in the morning & wished him luck kissing his cheeks.
Daadi did notice him studying more than usual just unaware of his dedication.
He was calm & composed. He completed the exam & came back home.

Daadi - was really scared & worried.
He completed all the exams so did geet with her gudwara manath.
It was April geets exam time. Studies was never a problem for her except her distraction
She would think about maan & stop studying or revising. but never to an extend losing her no.1
position in class. She still continued to meet him for tuitions.
Maan was totally free now & was going through her math unit test note book.
He noticed she got full in all the tests except one. He went back & checked what mistake she has
done to correct her. He noticed it was the sum which he taught her wrong.
Maan - root 2 & root 2 is 2 not root 4
Geet - umm
Maan - phir tumne root 4 kyun lika hain when u know the answer
Geet - aapne hi tho kaha tha root 4 hota hain
Maan - main ne galat kaha tha & u know that
Geet - mera liya wohi sahi hain jo aapne kaha hain, Maan Singh Khurana can never be wrong

Geet - I believe that & kissed him. U r the best u know. I really love u a lot
He could never get tired of hearing that from her & she never stopped saying that either.
Maan - exam main galat mat karna na answer is 2
She smiled & nodded for yes
Summer holidays & they spend the whole day together. She reached his house in the morning at 11.00am went with him for his karate class & then they would have lunch in his place
They would watch some movies & maan would watch her. In the evening they would
Go to the park & she will play in the swing & he would push her standing behind.
Every now & then in a day she would crib about him leaving to dargling .
May 1st week geets result. She went to school all tensed up. maan followed her
Class teacher - congrats u topped again
Ridzs, meera & arohi were really happy for her & kissed her hugged her & demanded a treat
She promised them a treat. He was all the while around her. She never knew. He was so happy to see her jumping in joy. He wondered if she remember him in mid of all this.
He silently went back home & sat on his window feeling her in the air. She came barging through
the front door & hugged him & turned him around hugging him.
Geet - I topped I topped I topped, I am in 7-B now & danced around
He was so happy & emotional. He loved that she did share it with him the way he wanted & longed
Geet - challo
Maan looked confused
Geet - treat. She dragged him to an ice-cream parlor
Geet - kaun si wali
He didn't know what to order, he had never been to an ice-cream parlor before. may be with his parents when he was young but really did'nt remember.
She ordered one of each flavor. Aap sab taste karo & tell me which one u like
She made him eat a bite of vanilla flavor; she watched his reaction & binned it
He was shocked, then she made him taste strawberry flavor & watched his reaction & binned that too. She did that with butterscotch too. Then she made him taste chocolate, she smiled with his reaction & ordered another one for herself. He wondered how she could know what he likes when his expressions where the same for all the flavors & he didn't even suggest he didn't like the earlier flavors or like this one. probably she just knew him little too well.
They spend practically the whole summer holidays having fun. But maan still never spoke up.
June : maan went to school to see his result. Checked his roll number & wrote down his marks
& quietly came back to his flat.
