isnt she a woman?
she is bad dirty woman we all know and its normal in our society that we blame womans like this in our society they are ruining our counry etc.
Absolutely, Veena is someone's daughter and sister. Whether she's the daughter of a prostitute or a pair of respectable parents, her background shouldn't be the grounds for bashing her. How I see this is, Veena has brought all the criticism on herself thanks to her own shenanigans on BB. It's not that she doesn't deserve to be respected, but she just fools around with men without giving a second thought to what she's doing. She knows that she is on national television. She's willingly putting herself out there to be judged (just like Shweta, Sara, Ashmit, Dolly, etc are).
You've raised a good point about the mindset of our society, but I don't think this is relevant to a specific culture per say. Even the western celebrities that behave this immorally are looked down upon in their society. I could name at least a dozen of them off the top of my head. It's not about being a man or a woman (although I do agree that men get away more often than women do). It's not about being an Indian, a Pakistani or an American. It's about ethics if you ask me.
