"I was offered Black, but I was busy then," says Aishwarya

In an interview to Rajeev Masand, Ash explains why she refused Black. I think she should not have mentioned about it. Rani did a brilliant job . Why talk about projects that you did not accept? Your thougts.

Oh I watched that interview...She specified she was offered the teacher's role...the one that ultimately went to Big B...😊...So no question of comparison with Rani there...

I disagree. There is nothing wrong with talking about roles you have been offered IMO. If someone asks, are you gonna lie and say no I wasn't offered the film. Why?

Nothing wrong with mentioning a fact. It's not like the revelation is going to do any damage to Rani.

um aishwarya was never offered the role of "michelle" in black. i think she was offered the teacher part in black. rani herself stated in an interview long back that she was the only actress approached for the main role of michelle. i think aish was approached for the teacher role in the movie or some other role, but not the role of michelle.

but looking at the whole film i think amit ji did full justice to that role and i don't think anyone could have done it better. same with rani's role.

and i think its perfectly ok to talk about roles that she was offered but couldn't commit to!

anyway who cares if she was offered which role in black, those who were in the film already did a fab job, meanwhile couldn't ash reveal this after 30 yrs, she is revealling it so soon naa
