What is the story behind's Aman's mind games. Chakkar kya hai?
Let's go back to the beginning.
We heard when he came into town that he is a lawyer who likes to take on risky cases and I suspect probably loves to live life on the ledge once in a while.
No lawyer was ready to take on the case. Every black robe outside the courthouse refused to take the case. Did they oblige as he was the son of IG of Police maybe in a neighboring city? He took on the Prof. case but provided the worst kind of defense. Prof. was headed for the electric chair until Prats stepped in and put her marriage and future on the line to tell the truth in court. During the trial he sees the Saxes as being wuzzes and waiting to be picked on. He finds out that Prats is married into a family with a father and brother who are criminals who have managed to stay away from jail. He knows she will step in to protect her family at any cost. So he decides to marry Arushi. He already has the grateful Saxes ready to kiss his feet, wash it and drink the footbath water if they had to without a word.
Aman proposes and comes back for free tea and badgers the Saxes to give an answer and they relent. The families agree on an engagement. SS and KN are called criminals that day by IG and refuses to have anything to do with them and even issues a condition that criminals not attend his son's wedding. Saxes give in.
Then he goes out with his wife so Prats can spot them. He knows she won't sit back but will hunt him down. He appears again and again and pokes at Prats to force her to get to the heart of the matter. The cafe scene accomplished that with his dare to her. Kriya found his wife and it was revealed that Annu Mathur has a father and brother in jail that IG will never accept her as bahu bec' of it. He calls Prats to needle her to ensure she outs his wife publicly to his family.
Prats brings Annu Mathur and reveals her as SCAM's wife. IG is forced to accept her as his bahu. The man who loves to take risks has managed to get his way using Prats to achieve his ends.
