Both want Arushi as their second wife. Shakti at least appears to have genuine interest in her (in fact there are certain parallels with Krishna when he first developed his obsession for Pratigya). He is not hiding his wife from his family or trying to trick someone into marrying him without revealing the truth. Shakti is uneducated and was raised to tough and unfeeling. Amaan was raised to be respectful of the law.

I think that Amaan is the bigger villan here - and we are just starting to find out about his crimes

Aman is far worse than Shakti...He is deceiving two women at the same time with both unaware with his double life. Being a lawyer, he sho uld know what he is about to do is against the law, especially with him harping on about sachchai ka saat.

Shakti, despite being the way he is, his wife is aware of his obsession with Arushi. Though she may not know the extent, but has an inclination of his intention. Her muteness is the reason for it to go to marriage stage.

However, I don't get what either saw in Arushi that they both are pursuing her.

Both are worst. i don't know what is their problem in finding a second wife when they already have one. i still don;t get why Aman is playing like this. His dad is IG and he himself is a lawyer under the law it is not right to marry when u already have a wife. so why is he doing this to Arushi? if the family is the reason i don;t get it. u can hide yr marriage but why marry another girl. u can tell so many reasons not to get married.why do this?

I love shakti, honesty toward kesar, but i will pick him to be worst than aman. Shakti, severely beat kesar up.

I agree. Shakti seems to just operate from instinct - and there is not a lot of mystery there - you get what you see. Amaan on the other hand is far more manipulative.

Not sure how Amaan thought he could keep this 'flowers in the attic' type relationship with his wife going for any length of time.

This track is taking too long - but I am glad for the contrast and the lesson that education does not always make the man

i think shakti is better, definately. he is a foolish fool but he's by far better than aman.
