I honestly don't think that the public votes based on whether he sings better than Hema or not (let's just make your aunt an exception). Afterall, they are voting for the next Indian Idol. So the only thing they should consider is if he sings better than Anuj and Sandeep. I would think, excluding some inevitable biases such as region/family, that's how most of the voting goes.

I think its just a coincidence. Karu is also singing songs that Shamit sang in FG, Woh Lahmey and Kawa Kawa. Antara sang many songs Nihira sang in SRGMP- Tere bina, Rangeela Re. Amey sang Juda Hoke bhi, Suno na and Tum Jo mil gaye ho, all which were sung by Debojit. We compare the different renditions but I don't think it has an effect on the voting trends.

I dont think Sony has anything to do with the songs Karunya chooses to do. The songs in question here are all relatively newer songs, mostly composed by ARR, and all of them are hits. Also, these are songs that can challenge a good singer since they are fairly difficult and they have scope for improvisation(personalisation) which make them a natural choice in a competition. Both Hemachandra and Karunya have given near perfect, improvised deliveries on all these songs.

We just notice that Karu and Hemu singing same songs because they are cousins !

it is already shown in starplus that they both are cousins. Karunya's father and Hemu's mother are brother and sister. they belong to a big musical family and they have one organisation called Ajanta Arts ..they both gave many performances from the childhood till recent years together. they are very popular to sing some semi classical songs in Hindi and telugu also.

what I want to tell u people is taht what happend in case of Hemu should not repeat in Karunya's case. no doubt he is a good singer and the best of II2. so please all of you start voting to him and prove that only good talent wins!!!and we are true music lovers!!

and could you also please tell us if this is true for all contestents that they are told by Sony to sing those songs?

and if yes, then why there was so hungama when Sandy had Udit's song.....why didnt ppl understand that its Sony selecting songs for them - not they themselves!!!!

I'm more confused now.....who is correct....this opinion or the fact that Karu just wanna follow what hemu did....
No doubt he's most deserving in three remaining contestents but its not done until its done !!
