Deeya and Tony Singh's forthcoming show Maryada Aakhir Kab Tak on Star Plus will be launched on October 18 in the 11.30 pm slot now. The show was earlier to go on air on October 11, however due to some technical reasons it was pushed ahead.

A source says, "We had to do some patch work on a few episodes, so we have got a new launch date now. Recently we shot for the promos with the new launch date. Currently the entire unit is shooting in Powai where we have recreated Chandigarh. Our initial Chandigarh shoot was very good, we have shot most of the scenes on real locations. The unit had arranged for security but one day when we were shooting on Chandigarh railway station, some locals passed bad comments about female actors. Despite a warning, they continued to tease so Dakssh Ajit Singh was upset about it and punched one of them hard on his face. The police had to intervene into the matter and it was sorted immediately. Barring that incident out shoot went on smoothly."

Dakssh confirmed the incident but refused to divulge any details about it.

Tony Singh remained unavailable for comment.

Maryada set in a North India is a bold family drama which has Dakssh playing the youngest son of the family and Vindhya Tiwari, his love interest, Rakesh Bapat and Riddhi Dogra play man and wife while Kamya Punjabi is the eldest bahu. Arun Bali and Indrani Haldar play Dakssh's parents.
