Sarrkkar – update for 19^th May

Karan calls up Shweta but she doesn't answer his call. So he rings up home; her father picks up and gives it to her. But she doesn't want to talk so her mother takes the phone. She tells Karan that Shweta is in her room reading a script and has said that she should not be disturbed. But Karan realizes that Shweta is angry and therefore not receiving his calls.

Priyamvada once more tries to explain to Karan that he should wait before he gets married to Shweta because there is a lot of media campaigning against them so he should wait till things quieten down and that right now he should focus on his career. She says that from Raghunandan to Bhagwat, everybody is just waiting to target them. Karan, in his trademark arrogant style, says that if anybody tries to malign Shweta or thru her tries to target him, he'll not take it lying down.

Kunal goes to Priyamvada's room to meet her. She tells him that party workers ask her why Kunal doesn't join politics; he has a clean image and would be very successful. But once again Kunal refuses. He says, 'Rajneeti ek aaisa keechad hain, jiske cheete naa chahte hue bhi man ko maila kar dete hain.' Priyamvada replies, ' Lekin is keechad ko saaf karne bhi us me pair rakhne padte hain. Kya aap chahte hain ki hame doosro ke saamne sharminda hona pade?' Kunal says, ' Main yeh Kabhi nahi chahta ki meri wajah se aapko sar jhukana pade. Lekin aap bhi nahi chahenge ki main apne usulon ke khilaf jana pade.' Kunal once again mentions wanting t go back to Banglore. Priyamvada gets very annoyed and tells him that she'll talk later as she is very busy.

Karan goes to Shweta's house and tries to explain things to her. She tells him that she loves him a lot but if he thinks his career is more important than her then he should establish himself first and meet her only after he fixes up the marriage date. She tells him to leave her alone and not try to meet her.

Shweta is sitting alone with Karan's photo in her hand. Her mother comes in and tells her that she should not let Karan realize that he is her weakness. Shweta says that she is feeling very guilty for leaving him alone and adding to his problems and expresses a doubt that he may feel that she doesn't care for him. But her mother assures her that her 'naraazgi' and staying away from him will frustrate him and that will make Priyamvada bend before them.

Urvashi tells Kunal that he should not hurt Priyamvada everyday. Kunal tells her that he doesn't do it intentionally and is not happy with the circumstances. He says that when I have said that I don't want to enter politics everyone should not pressurize him. He tells Urvashi that he has decided what to do. Then he proceeds to tell her but that is all in muted dialogues…we can just see Urvashi expressing surprise. Just then the phone rings, Urvashi picks up and says, 'Mrs. Mathur'

Karan storms into Priyamvada's room. She stops him at the door and says that if he had come to talk about Shweta she doesn't have time. But he says that he has come to talk about himself.

Karan – Aap mere saath rajneeti ka ganda khel khel rahi hain. Just like Kritika, you are now spoiling my life. Everybody knew that that position was fit for me but you appointed Bhai. Aap to do bhaion ke beech bhi rajneeti kar rahi hain. He turns to go, but suddenly turns and says, 'Jo baat kehne aaya that woh to bhool hi gaya. Ho sake to agle mahine ki 20 taarikh free rakhna. Main Shweta se shaadi kar raha hoon. Ye shaadi court mein hogi ya ghar par aap mujhe bata dena.'

Priyamvada is horrified.
