This highly anticipated movie, helmed by Siddharth Anand, is slated for a Christmas release on December 24, 2026. Recently, candid photos from the South African shooting location surfaced online, capturing Deepika and Shah Rukh on set and sparking excitement among fans. This collaboration reunites the popular on-screen pair following Deepika's memorable cameo in their 2023 blockbuster, Jawan.

King features an ensemble cast including Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, and Jaideep Ahlawat in significant roles. This film signifies Suhana Khan's entry into theatrical releases, following her debut on Netflix in the 2024 film The Archies, which unfortunately drew considerable criticism for her performance.

In addition to King, Deepika Padukone is set to star in Raaka opposite Allu Arjun, marking their first collaboration on screen. The film Raaka is being directed by Atlee and produced by Sun Pictures.

An insider shared with HT that Deepika intends to continue filming "King" and her other project, "Raaka," throughout her pregnancy. "Deepika is shooting intense action scenes for Raaka during her pregnancy and will keep working on the film," the source revealed. The production team is reportedly implementing all the necessary safety measures.
