Dia Mirza - underrated?

For some reason, I've always had a soft spot for Dia Mirza. I loved her in RHTDM but somehow she failed to really make it to the top league of actresses. She's stunning and I think she's improved a LOT as an actress. She's not an amazing actress by any means but neither are a lot of other actresses in the top league today. At events and in movies, she carries herself extremely gracefully. What went wrong? Why is she never offered lead roles?

She wasn't bad at all in her debut movie..she was good in a movie with salman and then i don't know what happened to her and she just disappeared. I remember she was dating Kunal Kapoor at the time. She did came back with Lage raho Munnabhai. I loved her pairing with Abhishek at the end..but still we never got to know what suddenly happened, why she disappeared? did she had plans to get married with kunal which she stopped signing project?? But then later she didn't signed any either. I just get to see her at the parties and that's about it.

i agree shes very pretty...and acts decently too....but she's not charismatic enough to be a recognized as a star (ala aamir, srk, katrina) or talented enough to be recognized as an actor (ala tabu, koko). shes kinda in the middle...which is why i guess a lot of people are so "meh" abt her....

is she underrated? for sure

is she a good actress? she's pretty good but not that great. she also lacks the x-factor which might explain her position in bollywood.

does she act better than the latest churn of actresses? FOR SUREEEE

Very pretty girl and very well dressed. Love her style of dressing.

She is sweatheart but like said before although a decent actresses lacks the X factor u need to find away to connect with a huge fan base fast to make it big & get decent offers

IMHO, she's got nothing to offer to anyone...neither the thinking audience nor the front row hooligans. No x factor, no acting prowess, no sex appeal, no jhatkas, no curves, no spicy interviews. Plus, she definitely is no Tabu, Nandita Das or Koko like someone mentioned already.

she is gorgeous for sure but lets face it, she cant act to save her life.bland expressions, cringeworthy dialogue delivery, no screen presence

She is much better in flashing her smile and showing her beauty in photoshoots or events😉

She is extremely pretty...and well dressed...I'm not sure about her talent. Plus she never had a popular boyfriend she could make use of or probably she didnt suck up to any producer/director/Actor.. .. would've helped her! Or a popular surname for that matter!

i dont see the big deal about her acting.she's okay sometimes i guess.but thats about it.
