Well one of the characteristics a modern man/woman should have is the ability to make their own damn choices!! It's sad what this world has come to today, no one believes in morals or ethics. (ps I am NOT bashing anybody i'm just saying in general)

According to me , a modern woman is a person who speaks out her mind at the right time and doesn't hesitate or hold back just because of society.

But Riddhima here isnt some modern woman.......see in this case its not about modernity at all. If she didnt love Sid she had no right to lead him on,make him believe that she did, respond so eagerly to his touches and kisses and then suddenly go and get physical with her ex.

If she didnt love Sid, she should have told him and left him long back...believe me SR fans wouldnt have been so aggravated right now and no one would have hated her.
Even Sid told her time and again to be frank with him.He gave her many chances to go back to Armaan....why didnt she???

In the olden days, women ,no matter how unhappy they were or how much they were tortured by their in-laws or husband, kept quiet just for the sake of society. But a modern woman doesnt do that...she speaks for herself and her self -esteem.

In the same way Riddima should have spoken up long ago and set herself and Sid free from this marriage....she had no right to play around with Sid's feelings.
