IT raid in Sajid Nadiadwala's office

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala's Anjaani Anjaani is not as big a success as Arbaaz Khan's Dabangg. And yet after Arbaaz's office a few days ago, it was Sajid Nadiadwala's office on Yari Road which was raided by income tax officials on Thursday afternoon at around 3 pm.

A large number of IT officials swooped down on Nadiadwala's office to check his accounts and records.

The producer whose last three films have been the flop Kambakkht Ishq, the super hit Housefull and the moderately successful Anjaana Anjaani sounded quite relaxed.

"It's just a routine inspection. The IT people are here in my office checking my records. I am with them. I guess getting a visit from income-tax officials is one way of knowing how much a filmmaker matters," joked Sajid, showing no outward signs of stress.

Aakrosh Poor Opening Crook Poor Week One

Aakrosh opened to a poor 30-35% response and the film did not improve through the day. Business at single screens was slightly better but still well below the mark. It seems Aakrosh will find it tough going at the box office due to the limited entertainment in the film.

Knock Out was very poor with 15-20% collections on first day and it has little chance at the box office as opening is too low and will need a huge turnaround.

Ramayana the animation film had awful collections on day one.

Crook had first week of around 11 crore nett. The film fared very poor all over. FLOP

Do Dooni Chaar picked up and grossed around 3 crore nett in week one. The film is doing well in the Delhi/NCR area.

Anjaana Anjaani dropped in week two with around 6.50 crore nett collcetions. The two week total is 38.50 crore nett and the film will finish around the 41 crore nett mark. ABOVE AVERAGE

Robot was steady on the lower side with around 5.50 crore nett collections in week two. The two week total is 16.75 crore nett. The film has done average business in the Maharashtra area. BELOW AVERAGE

All these tags are just semantics.. above-average, below-average, semi-average, average. The bottom-line is that it is not a hit and a huge, huge let-down for Ranbir after Rajneeti. I don't know why but PC hardly ever gives a hit. Even her Dostana is typed as Average by BOI

Am copying and pasting from another topic which got closed b/c repeat 😆 No (: lol you're not late at all..in fact its been more than 2 weeks since I've seen AnjaanaAnjaani..and my AA fever continues to run higher than EVER!! Gosh it was such a beautiful movie! 😳

Top 5 Fav scenes

(in no order) 😆

- Kiara's shayari when he comes out and he's like "I couldn't do it"

- Akash's gay strip club scene 🤣 OMG that was freaking HILARIOUS (:

- They go swimming and Akash is all pedantic about it..god Ranbir's expressions were ACE 🤣

- Road-trip in car scenes... 😆 like even during the song Hairat..

- In the end where he chucks the bottle into the water and she's like isme kya likha hai 😆

TOO HARD..since I'm SO in love with them all!

Anjaana Anjaani electric dance one...is SUCH an aaammaazzing dance song.. 😆

Anjaana Anjaani the slow version is plain simple and lyrics are really nice! <3

Aas Paas Khuda is just beautiful <33 Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's voice gives the song soul.

Uhh both before/in the song I feel good...PC's orange/cream cami looked sooo pretty on her! And Ranbir looked hot as anything, I've never liked him as much ever ever 😆

Anjaana Anjaani is such a beautiful movie with a beautiful msg! I keep saying to everyone it's a must watch MY GOD..you are crazy if you haven't seen it hahaha 😆
