Kapoors have all the reasons to party hard this season, first being the success of their recently released movie, 'Do Dooni Chaar' and the second that their daughter Riddhima, is expecting her first baby in March.
The evergreen jodi of Bollywood will soon turn Nana-Nani as their daughter is expecting a little bundle of joy, next year.
The news came as a cherry on the cake after the couple's performance in their latest movie was critically acclaimed by audiences and critics.
The couple admit they are open to offers together, on the condition, the subject is good. "We are also over the moon with the reactions and the way the film has been received," they said.
Riddhima expecting baby in March
While everyone in both the families is in a "rejoicing" mood including brother Ranbir and cousins, Karisma and Kareena, Rishi Kapoor is nervous and excited at the same time.
A source close to the Kapoor family revealed, "Rishi is bit nervous about turning grandpa, Ranbir is excited about becoming an uncle and welcoming a toddler into their family and Neetu has been rushing to Delhi every chance she gets to pamper her little girl."
Riddhima, who is married to Delhi-based garment exporter Bharat Sahni for four years, is currently in London shopping for her baby's clothes. The proud to-be grandmom said, "We are very excited."
Dad Rishi averred, "We are delighted. I do not know how to react to this. It hasn't seeped in yet."
Rumor has it that as soon as Riddhima returns from UK, the Kapoors and the Sahnis will plan as to when she can join her parents, as it is customary that a daughter stays with her parents in the last trimester of her first child.
Riddhima-Bharat Sahni marriage
Love birds, Riddhima and Bharat Sahni, met while studying in London, and after a three year courtship, entered wedlock on Jan. 25, 2006.
The mehendi ceremony was at RK Studios in Chembur and was followed by a cocktail dinner at Mumbai's Inter Continental Grand.
The wedding was held at the ITC Grand Maratha with 1000 plus guests in attendance. The grand reception for the newly-weds was held at a farmhouse in Chattarpur.
After the celebrations, Riddhima and Bharat left for a month-long honeymoon to Australia and New Zealand.
