The unit of the serial has reportedly started shooting in Panchgani. A source informed that the role was initially offered to actress Damini Anand, who was seen playing a negative role in Zee TV's show 'Maayka'. However, the final decision went in favour of Madhura Naik, who has also acted in Star One's popular youth based show 'Dill Mill Gayye'.

Madhura has also confirmed the news saying that she is coming to fiction with Star One's show 'Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani'. She added that her role is a very interesting one and she is looking forward to work on it.

The Balaji telefilm's show 'Pyaar Ki Yeh EK Kahaani' will start airing from October 18 at the 8.30pm slot.
