Tarak Mehta ahead of Balika Vadhu

Asit Kumarr Modi's sitcom Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has raced ahead of Balika Vadhu & Na Aana Is Desh Lado on Colours and Bidayi on Star Plus. This is the 3rd consecutive week (15th August 2010 to 21st August 2010, all India market) when TMKOC has maintained its number one position in 8.30 time slot across channels and is amongst top 10 in prime time period across all GE channels.

Says Asit Kumarr Modi, "keeping interest alive in comedy is very difficult, especially if you are making a clean family show. We try to bring in new contemporary story ideas all the time. My artistes and technical team is ready to try any new idea and they give their 110% to it. We are all very happy and thank our viewers from our heart."
