Yes, understanding Hindi is also a great achievement for us, because we have our regional language which has no similarity with Hindi - neither in structure nor script!! So we are double or triple burdened to learn Hindi and English along with regional language, including grammar of all three!! But I loved English grammar at school... The problem is also that I did my undergrad onwards outside India and so lost touch with Hindi, and didnt watch any Hindi movies or shows for years while pursuing my education and career...

I do just okay, nothing great.
About Hindi, you nailed it. It's a lot different from what we southies speak. So, its okay if we don't always get it right 😉 Just enough if we can comprehend whatever we watch on the screen. That's really important, else we can't enjoy the show. So, bottom line- we are good, we understand Hindi 😃 😃 👍🏼

DID 2 is over now, but i hope he goes really far. as of what i know, i think he is wotking on his own dance classes. Hope to see him on TV again! He rocks!
