Kareena to play Indira Gandhi?

I haven't seen Omkara yet (even though I've heard some amazing things about it) but I have seen We are Family. Unfortunately, I wasn't a big fan of the movie itself and I was disappointed in the scope the role gave Kareena.I personally thought her talent was wasted in the film which was centered around Kajol alone. But having said that, she did perform well in whatever little room she had to perform.

The only reason I said what I said was because I feel whoever plays Indira Gandhi needs to have a very powerful, magnetic aura about them. She was an enigmatic woman and I think that needs to come across on screen in order for the role to be convincing. I loved Kareena in Jab we Met and more light, comical roles but somehow I can't imagine her playing Indira Gandhi. I might be wrong though since I've somehow managed to miss all her performance-oriented films: Chameli, Dev and Omkara. Will give those a watch sometime 😛

And thanks for respecting my opinion even though I know you're a big Kareena fan. I like happy conversations 😊

I like happy conversations too! You should watch those kareena performance oriented films you listed! You won't regretted, even people who don't like her loved her in Omkara, Chameli, and Dev. Some even turned into fans! But I myself just watched Chameli for the first time recently 😆
