The serial Pratigya is number one on the TRP list and it's not surprising that the makers decided to have a party to celebrate their success.
The party, however, turned out to be quite eventful. Actor Yuvraj Malhotra (remember he was in Smriti Irani's serial Waaris) who's in a relationship with producer Pearl Gray lost his cool when actor Anupam Shyam, who plays Sajjan Singh in the show, hugged Pearl.
He fired Singh, who was also a few drinks down, and asked him to behave himself. Yuvraj is said to be very possessive of his girlfriend, but one didn't expect him to make it so obvious that too during a celebration. However, when we called him, he denied the incident. "There was no such unpleasant incident involving me and Anupam. These are just lies being spread," he laughed.
What we did like about Yuvraj though is the fact that he didn't try to maintain the 'we are just friends' line. "Yes, I am seeing Pearl and we've been together for the past three-and-a-half years."
On the work front, the young man is hoping to make it in movies. "I'm also currently in talks for some shows, but I can't confirm anything yet."
