Having listened to all the members on this post. Here is my take on each character. Please do give me your reaction to the character. I may miss out on some of them.

Ichcha and Tapasya - one is being portrayed as a saint with a strange behaviour towards those who care for her, the other a remorseless woman who is intent in destroying others but in the process is causing herself more harm.
Jogi Thakur - He has been more or less the only character to remain true to his character though many issues were just left unsolved in the beginning of the serial.
Divya - Her progression has been one of the strangest. Snobbish to start with, -accepting Damini and Ichcha as one of the family, -then horrified with Tapasya and the wedding and fully supporting her husband's reaction - then back to being supportive of Tapasya's marriage, -taking in a strange girl (after her happy 25th anniversary) despite her husbands denial -back again to being shocked at Tapasya's crime, then comes the motherly love (which she did not show much of earlier) for Tapasya so much so that she takes back Masoom just to spite her husband (who she is supposed to adore) Well what can one say about someone with all these characteristics and emotions.
Damini - Quiet as a mouse - elevated to a position in the family where other than with Nani and Pushkar she is allowed to give her opinion - portrayed as someone who knows Ichcha inside out but fails to recognise her daughter or that there is something wrong when Ichcha is rambling on about something after the sweeping incident.
Veer - He has remained pretty much the same although his character never says die even after the treatment meted out to him by Ichcha. He is supposed to a strong person but is being weakened by the script.
Nani - The other person to remain somewhat true to her character other than to let Tapasya down. Why she is not giving Masoom a hard time is beyond me because she certainly did not make it easy for Ichcha
Vansh who could have made a difference, is history.

The others for me are just guest actors because no one is making a major difference or impact.
Raghu - did he come in to give us lessons in gambling?
Mattoo - Is he a message ??? that policemen take a break from the case till they are needed again?? I rather liked his character thought he had some substance
Chanda - Don't really know why she is there in the first place. A guest actor for me.

With all these up and downs in each person's character being given so much prominence how will the issues in Uttaran ever get resolved.??? Any ideas ???? Hoping for a decent episode today

Fairly new but the intention was not to justify anyone. What I wanted to know from all those members who have been around longer than me is what is it that we are looking for in this serial.

Most of these characters are like chameleons changing with each episode so what should we be looking for in Uttaran. The story (seems to be no story anymore) the acting (some are good some ...) the direction (can do with a makeover)the message ( is there one?/)........so there you go.

Didn't quite understand why Tapasya was still in the hotel room after losing all the money in gambling...had she had some self respect,she would have immediately left rather than waiting for anyone to throw her out.....😲
