Agree with you yaar!!!
It was as if something was missing!!!
He has acted very beautifully in past but today...
His performance lacked something!!!
But to hell with!!!
As some member above said!!!

Overall, I honestly think he did a very good job. But, there were some moments that might have fallen just a little flat. But still the effect was not really taken away. As Geet was telling him the truth, his facial expressions were constantly changing and his eyes were showing how effected he was by it. And about his eyes being blank, well I think all life rushed out of him when she told him the truth. I mean he wasn't listening to her before so now coming to realize what happened is a really really big blow.

even i think so Today Maan himself realised that he was acting selfish while she was trying to tell the truth......he felt so shallow ...that reflected in his acting....

gurmeet is excellent today as he loves her and could not able to speak when geet is there,as he commited in one of the episode ,"iske samne main kuch bol kyon nahi pata hoon"and today maan has to show mixture of love and anger as truly speaking he does not want to leave her ,and does not able to grasp the truth of her life ,he is confused between dil and dimag ,dil ki sune ya dimag ki.dil maan ko kehta hai geet uski jindagi hai or dimag ek parnita ko accept karne se mana karta hai ,maan ko daar hai hoe he can face dadima for instance,or jise aap bahut chahte ho agar woh aapko bataye ke kise or ke bachhe ki woh maa bane wali hai to kya expression do ge aap ,wohi maan ne diye .love u guru

i think that he was tired from shooting
but also he had to act that way bc he was shocked when he learned about the truth

later on when he was looking for her, i could sense how much he needed to meet her

i think he was doing alright, just looked a little tired

ok i read all the posts and you guys are right! But i think we all have different standards...i guess since GC is one of the more talented ones on TV we have higher standards...which is good b/c the higher we demand from him...the better he'll get and delivers! I'm not gonna say he was bad or average b/c i love the part where geet leaves and he has the self-dialouge and pounds his fists on the table...superb!! I guess I'm used to seeing terrible acting on other soaps so GC's acting no matter how average seems extraordinary!!! But the scene prior to that Drashti totally outshined him w/the way she cries! I always get a tear in my eye when she does sad scenes...she's very realistic!! But it was worth watching his expressions change as she reveals each piece of info about her past!!

Bottom Line: He's good we all know that, but we(as FANS) have greater expectations and alright to criticize your favs here and there!!! One average performance doesn't make him horrid!! However I still love him!!(more for his personality and acting than looks...yes girls...even more than the looks)!!!

Hey gal...i think Gurmeet did a fabulous job...i liked his expressions in throughout d episode.. .but i felt today main focus was on geet...now i m eagerly waiting 4 monday...Damn it i hate this serial..y it's so interesting.... 😃
