Ok, still not breathing right due to last night's episode but should be fine by the time today's episode is aired😳. Just thought of penning my thoughts on last night's episode!!

Yeh Raaste Hai Pyar Ke!!!

I was super worried with Maan's reaction on Monday and was going to write this big jaap on the inconsistency in his character but I am so glad I did not. Because after seeing this episode you realize that Maan has reacted the way he was supposed to. The sequence was:

Anger --> Disbelief --> Pain --> Hurt --> Denial --> Acceptance

He cannot help himself from loving her or being with her since he sealed his own fate when he had said a few episodes back, Neev jitni mazboot hogi, rishta utna zyada lamba chalega.'We all know the neev of their relationship is strong and goes back a long way. To refresh your memory:

- Maan saving Geet's life in HP

- Maan saving Geet's honour after Kurbaan Hua dance sequence

- Maan giving up Rasika's deal for Geet

- Geet saving Maan's dignity in the dance club

- Geet agreeing to becoming Maan's fiancee for Dadima

- Geet going to HP to teach Rasika a lesson risking her life

These instances prove that the foundation of Maan and Geet's relationship is very strong and Maan cannot deny that. He can try and run away from her but her memories will haunt him. He can leave her but he knows he will not be able to live not knowing whether she is ok. He will keep her alongside just to know she is ok even if it tortures him. A marriage is on the cards but I have a feeling that Maan will come to know that Dev is the culprit after the wedding. That would be better in a way because if Geet says this before, Maan with his quick assumption would say that she is framing the family but after she married Maan he cant think that way!!! 👏

In terms of performance I have no words for how well Gurmeet and Drashti fit the bill as Geet and Maan. No man can express pain the way he does. The mirror scene was so heart wrenching, you just had to cry. Drashti keeps showing glimpses of her 18 year old innocent self through the maturity that has been forced due to her past. She does a stellar job and her expressions are first rate. Too too good!! Keep it up!!!
