Thanks Sam! where do you get all these animated stuff?😃 It's great!
The show has been named with a lot of thought. There is a reason they called it "mann ki awaaz". Precisely because they encourage following your instinct rather than follow prescribed values!

That is also the reason I started watching this show a few months into it and caught up with the back story. The beauty of the characterization is that just when you think someone is good they do something terrible and vice versa. Even Katra Naresh showed he had love in his heart for Komal and Krishna (when he was in the hospital) and with his loyalty to SS. Sadly Kesar is his punching bag when he wants to vent. Seen from a different perspective one would say he loves Kesar that he trusts her and feels safe to share his deepest emotions so openly with her.
After all everything in life depends on context and one's perception. How many times have we had polar opposite reactions to the same situation even among family members who share DNA. The Takurs present this beautifully. Krishna's mindset is so different from all his other family members. Komal is more like Krishna than the older members. Generation gap or just plain wisdom within and some acquired from staying in tune, observing and learning from the world around them and most of all staying true to themselves. In my book, lying to yourself is the greatest disservice one can do to oneself.
